Hola mis queridos amigos amantes de las delicias culinarias. Estoy de vuelta con ustedes, esta vez para mostrarles como preparar unas deliciosas tortitas de maní, uno de mis postres favoritos. El maní es uno de los frutos secos más ricos que existen y se pueden realizar varios postres con él. Este dulce es muy sencillo de hacer y lo mejor con pocos ingredientes. Enseguida les muestro como prepararlas.

1 cup peeled peanuts
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk

First of all, we must toast the peanuts, for this we put them in a frying pan over low heat, stirring constantly so that they toast evenly and are not burned in sections. We know it is ready when we take out a kernel and when we let it cool down, it completely removes the shell.
Primeramente, debemos tostar el maní, para ello lo ponemos en un sartén a fuego bajo sin dejar de mover para que se vaya tostando uniformemente y no quede quemado por tramos. Sabemos que está listo cuando sacamos un grano y al dejarlo refrescar el mismo larga completamente la cáscara.

Cuando esté bien tostado se saca a un recipiente y se deja refrescar para después ir quitando esa cascarita que se desprende a todos los granitos hasta dejarlos todos bien pelados. Luego se separa la cáscara que largo del grano y lo tenemos preparado para incorporarlo al dulce más adelante.

Ahora se pone en un recipiente la taza de azúcar y se coloca a fuego medio hasta que vaya diluyendo para luego incorporarle la leche hasta ir formando un almíbar espesa.
When the syrup is thick enough to stick to your fingers, add the peanuts and stir little by little until you see that the syrup hardly comes off the skimmer or you can see a thick drop.
Cuando el almíbar tenga ese punto espeso que se pegue en los dedos se le echa el maní y se va removiendo poco a poco hasta que vean que el almíbar casi no despega de la espumadera o se ve una gota gruesa.
At this point, remove from the heat and stir again until the pancakes are formed. Once at this point, remove them one by one, shaping them with a spoon on a previously wet nylon.
Ya en este punto retiramos del fuego y se mueve otro poco hasta que se vean que se van formando las tortitas, una vez en este punto se van sacando de una en una dándole forma con la cuchara a un nailon previamente húmedo.

That looks really good, we have peanut brittle too in the Philippines and we call it Panutsa. They don't have milk, just sugar, I think 🤤🤤. Seeing this made me miss it. Huhu. It's been a really long time since I last had some.
