What I like most about Japanese cuisine, besides the food of course, is the elegance. I often dine at the restaurant but, although I don't frequent restaurants of particular caliber, award-winning Michelin stars, I cannot find anywhere else such an elegant, almost intimate environment of a Japanese restaurant.

The Japanese restaurant has always amazed me with the order and arrangement of every single object, nothing left to chance, but everything is arranged to encourage customers to relax and enjoy the tasty lunch/dinner. I also really like the kindness and education of the staff, always available even if they don't always understand my language and sometimes you have to simulate anything with hand gestures.

My passion for Japanese food is quite recent, for years I have always denied any desire or proposal to spend an evening in a Japanese restaurant. My distrust stems from my lack of passion for raw fish, a flaw that I eliminated only after the first dinner at Mode, an important Japanese restaurant in the area.

I usually prefer to go to dinner with my friends, we often choose the All you can eat option to try a bit of everything, even if sometimes we exaggerate a little and in the end we are forced to finish all the food on our plate to avoid paying extra! If you've had lunch or dinner at a Japanese restaurant or Japanese food, then you'll know what I'm about to say. I like the association of raw fish such as salmon, tuna or swordfish with soy sauce, a real discovery for me, I have become a big supporter!

I also love tempura, soft and crunchy breading, soaked in a spicy sauce, I've never understood whether it's pepper-based or it's just my feeling. As always it is an idyllic experience, I like to taste spices, new recipes and above all enjoy the environment in which I am immersed!

Ciò che mi piace di più della cucina giapponese, oltre al cibo ovviamente, è l'eleganza. Mi capita spesso di cenare al ristorante ma, sebbene io non frequenti ristoranti di particolare caratura, pluripremiati stelle Michelin, non trovo da nessun'altra parte quell'ambiente così elegante, quasi intimo, di un ristorante giapponese.

Il ristorante giapponese mi ha da sempre stupito per l'ordine e la disposizione di ogni singolo oggetto, nulla lasciato al caso, ma tutto è disposto per invogliare i clienti a rilassarsi e godersi il gustoso pranzo/cena. Mi piace anche molto la gentilezza ed educazione del personale, sempre disponibili anche se non sempre comprendono la mia lingua e a volte occorre simulare qualsiasi cosa con i gesti delle mani.

La mia passione per il cibo giapponese è abbastanza recente, per anni ho sempre rinnegato qualsiasi volontà o proposta di trascorrere una serata nel ristorante giapponese. La mia diffidenza nasce dalla scarsa passione per il pesce crudo, un difetto che ho eliminato solo dopo la prima cena presso il Mode, un importante ristorante giapponese in zona.

Solitamente preferisco andare a cena con i miei amici, spesso scegliamo l'opzione All you can eat per assaggiare un po' di tutto, anche se a volte esageriamo un po' e alla fine siamo obbligati a finire tutto il cibo nel piatto per evitare di pagare supplementi! Se hai pranzato o cenato in un ristorante giapponese o cibo giapponese, allora saprai bene ciò che sto per dire. Mi piace l'associazione del pesce crudo come salmone, tonno o pesce spada alla salsa di soya, una vera scoperta per me, sono diventato in grande supporter!

Adoro anche la tempura, impanatura soffice e croccante, imbevuto in una salsina piccante, non ho mai compreso se sia a base di peperone oppure è solo una mia sensazione. Come sempre è un'esperienza idilliaca, mi piace gustare le spezie, nuove ricette e soprattutto godermi l'ambiente in cui sono immerso!
