FOODlog #676: Pork & Tomato Stir Fry

Day 6 of quarantine and the 2nd last day before getting tested again for covid. Thankfully on day 8 I was tested negative although I still had some slight cough and throat irritation.

Here's what I had for lunch one of the days last week:

My mum cooked 2 dishes a vegetable dish and a meat dish.

The meat dish was sliced pork cooked with garlic and tomatoes and seasoned simply with salt. A very simple dish but very delicious. It has some nice sweetness and slight sourness from the fresh tomatoes and a nice savory note from the stir fried garlic.

The vegetable dish was some greens and carrot slices cooked with garlic and some oyster sauce, seasoned with salt to taste.

Ate all this with rice as usual. Taste buds still weren't fully back to normal but much better than the earlier days of getting infected where there was a bitter after taste after a meal.
