Hello, friends especially foodies!

I believe that all of us must have vary experiences of food and dishes. We might have experienced good tasty food, worst food, ordinary just so so food, even weird food. And now I would like to tell you my experience having the weirdest ramen of my life.

The Japanese Food restaurant which i had the ramen named Donburi Tempura High. They put the hiragana word of donburi before the tempura high words, i know it cause i had the basic japanese and it is an old story (maybe i would tell you later, in my another article, just remind me of it haha cause sometimes many things i would like to share to you all guys but ended up i didn't write anything at all haha).

The restaurant looked interesting from the outside because it was so bright, had many customers and they hung many yellow lanterns on one side of their restaurant. Anyway this restaurant is new and my church friend said it sold many kind of Japanese food and they were quite tasty so there we were, wanna try the food there.

Inside, they had a quite large dining area with like i said some lanterns hung on one side of their wall. There were so many and there's written name of Japanese cities, i bet they might be their branches in Japan (well maybe...).

The other side of their dining area they made it modern too with hanging light word boards on their wall. Their dining area was clean and i'm sure you would be willingly to be there to dine in and chit chat.. yes, this place was nice and cozy too.

With the lighting that were so bright, you would see every detail of the food they served then...

For the menu, they had Japanese curry series on the first page of their menu.

Then they had sundae ice cream... Right next to it their kind of tendon (tempura rice bowls).

They also had some kind of hot tempura. Oh good they had soup ramen (i was a bit feeling unwell, seemed like going to catch a cold that day).

Still soup ramen and also they had the black and red version of the soup ramen. Black was from the black garlic sauce while red was from the fire sauce.

They also had kind of dry ramen.

Good that they also had sushi rolls..

And for the drink they had Japanese popular soft drink (calpis), juice and tea plus soft drink.

While waiting, you could take for their free salad and soup in a self service counter. For you to know, i only took a bit of their salad (only carrot and cabbage) with mayonaise dressing that they offered.

Ta da, here were what i had that day...

20240317_190939.jpg

i was feeling a bit cold that day so i had hot ocha, soup ramen and a bit of their salad.

This was their soup ramen named TORI CHASHU SOUP RAMEN

20240317_190944.jpg

The soup ramen i had contained ramen, chashu chicken, egg, mushroom, chinese leak and fried garlic (weird, i never found any ramen with this ingredient, fried garlic what would it taste, i had had a bad feeling about it).

20240317_191405.jpg

First that i tried from every soup ramen i had was their broth. I sipped the soup, oh no it was bad, the taste ofthe broth was thin, i couldn't feel any chicken broth at all in it. So it was weird and also from the garlic they put in it, it tasted so weird, so hard and smelly.

20240317_191205.jpg

Then, how about the ramen noodle it had, i chose the straight noodle and it was just so so. It had medium hardness and quite chewy but nothing special with it.. No umami flavour or anything that made me crave it for more.

And for the chashu chicken it was also weird too. It had light savory flavour and still tasteda bit fishy, smelly, like they didn't know how to handle it properly. Well, it's embarassing that they don't know how to handle it well but sell it, right?

Well now i've already shared my version of the weirdest food i ever had, now it's your turn....... And maybe you could comment in the comment section about your version of weirdest food!

The ramen ingredients looks not so weird but by the way yes I never eat ramen with garlic, but it looks good and what a menu with a wide choice!💖

Trust me it was weird to put those many garlic to ramen. Yes it was good that they had many menus. Thanks for passing by :)
