Аutumn pies

In autumn I really want warmth and coziness in the house. I wanted to create such an atmosphere so I decided to prepare two pies with interesting fillings. Today I want to share these recipes with you.

To prepare the dough, we need following ingredients:

  • buckwheat / corn / rice flour 250-300 grams

  • salt

  • baking powder

  • warm water

  • vegetable oil (depending on your wishes, you can take any).

We put all dry ingredients together. To make the dough light, I sift the flour through a sieve. As you can see, there are many large particles that we remove. After that we add butter, warm water and we get a nice dough. Cover with a napkin and let the dough stay a little while we prepare the filling.

I chose two fillings for my pies, sweet and salty.
In order to prepare a sweet filling, you need to take apples (I took 6 small ones). Peel and cut, depending on your wish. I also took dried grapes, washed and dried them well. Put the dough on a greased baking sheet, making small sides. Put the filling, apples and dried grapes on top. I sprinkled it all over with a little brown sugar to make it a little sweeter.

In order to prepare the salty filling, I took cabbage, onions and carrots. Chopped onions and cabbage, grated carrots on a fine grater. I put everything together, added salt and squeezed a little with my hands. As well as with a sweet pie, I put the filling on the dough, making small sides.

We put everything in the oven for 30-35 minutes at 200 degrees.

You can serve the pie warm with a lump of butter.
