Reviviendo sabores de la comida china | Esp-Eng

El día de ayer vi una publicación que me inspiró a compartir esta experiencia foodie, mostrando un hermoso local de comida china, increíblemente decorado. Eso me hizo pensar en mi reciente visita al restaurante Bella China, el cual por muchos años estuvo ubicado en Puerto La Cruz, la ciudad donde vivo, y ahora fue mudado a Lechería. Había visto en redes sociales la inauguración y me maravilló ver que ahora es un restaurante de dos pisos, sin embargo, he aprendido que las apariencias pueden llegar a engañar, ya que mi última visita a un hermoso restaurante chino fue una total decepción.

Cuando el restaurante Bella China, estaba ubicado en Puerto La Cruz, lo visité en múltiples ocasiones, era sin lugar a dudas mi sitio favorito para degustar comida china, recuerdo sus mesas giratorias y los estupendos sabores, así que tenía que visitarlo en su actual sede para comprobar si los platillos aún tenían ese excelente sabor que yo recordaba.

Fui en compañía de mi mamá y en cuanto entramos al lugar, ambas coincidimos en la belleza de algunos detalles decorativos, como la preciosa escalera, la grandiosa lámpara o la hermosa pecera.

Yesterday I saw a post that inspired me to share this foodie experience, showing a beautifully decorated Chinese food place. That made me think of my recent visit to the restaurant Bella China, which for many years was located in Puerto La Cruz, the city where I live, and now was moved to Lechería. I had seen on social networks the inauguration and was amazed to see that it is now a two-story restaurant, however, I have learned that appearances can be deceiving, as my last visit to a beautiful Chinese restaurant was a total disappointment.

When the restaurant Bella China, was located in Puerto La Cruz, I visited it on multiple occasions, it was undoubtedly my favorite place to taste Chinese food, I remember its rotating tables and the great flavors, so I had to visit it in its current location to check if the dishes still had that excellent taste that I remembered.

I went in the company of my mom and as soon as we entered the place, we both agreed on the beauty of some decorative details, such as the beautiful staircase, the grandiose lamp or the beautiful fish tank.

Pedimos algunos platillos que solíamos comer en la sede de Puerto La Cruz, la atención fue muy buena y la comida estuvo lista en un tiempo prudencial, el suficiente para tener una buena conversación y para que crecieran las ganas de probar los platillos. Pedimos una ración de lumpias, una ración de arroz chino especial y una ración de lomito con jojoticos. Las lumpias se veían bien crocantes y eran bastante grandes en comparación con el tamaño estándar que suele encontrarse en otros restaurantes de comida china.

We ordered some dishes that we used to eat at the Puerto La Cruz headquarters, the service was very good and the food was ready in a reasonable time, enough to have a good conversation and to make us want to try the dishes. We ordered a portion of lumpias, a portion of special Chinese rice and a portion of lomito con jojoticos. The lumpias looked nice and crispy and were quite large compared to the standard size usually found in other Chinese restaurants.

Cuál no sería nuestra sorpresa cuando llegaron los platos y eran porciones gigantes, no les miento que era comida como para cuatro personas, todo se veía delicioso y el aroma complementaba para hacer la boca agua.

What would not be our surprise when the dishes arrived and they were gigantic portions, I'm not lying to you that it was food for four people, everything looked delicious and the aroma complemented to make your mouth water.

Me encantó que el arroz chino tuviera mucha proteína: camarones, cerdo y pollo, pues el último arroz chino que comí, era prácticamente solo arroz, lo cual fue bastante decepcionante. Por otra parte, la carne estaba sumamente tierna bañada con una salsa exquisita, me gustó mucho la rosa de zanahoria que colocaron al plato, los vegetales presentes en la carne estaba en su punto, conservaban un crujiente perfecto. Las lumpias estuvieron deliciosas, con un copioso relleno y bien crujientes.

I loved that the Chinese rice had a lot of protein: shrimp, pork and chicken, because the last Chinese rice I ate was practically only rice, which was quite disappointing. On the other hand, the meat was extremely tender and bathed in an exquisite sauce, I really liked the carrot rose that was added to the dish, the vegetables in the meat were just right, they kept a perfect crunchiness. The lumpias were delicious, with a copious stuffing and very crispy.

Así lució mi plato final que acompañé con un té de limón, fue un almuerzo excepcionalmente delicioso, este restaurante es un lugar que me regaló capas de alegría, como le comenté ese día a mi mamá, pues con cada bocado pude recordar todas las geniales ocasiones en las que la comida china me unió con personas estupendas.

This is what my final dish looked like, which I accompanied with a lemon tea, it was an exceptionally delicious lunch, this restaurant is a place that gave me layers of joy, as I told my mom that day, because with every bite I could remember all the great occasions in which Chinese food brought me together with great people.

Sobra decir que tuvimos bastante comida para llevar, que una sonrisa se dibujó en mi rostro durante todo el almuerzo y que hice el pequeño baile foodie durante varios bocados. No queda duda que será un lugar al cual volveré, sitios foodie como este son mi encanto.

Needless to say, we had plenty of food to go, a smile was on my face throughout lunch and I did the little foodie dance for several bites. There is no doubt that it will be a place I will return to, foodie places like this are my delight.
