Hi everyone, this afternoon I am enjoying lunch with my family. Today we eat noodles, my whole family's favorite. In Indonesia, there are many types of noodles sold, some of which are Javanese noodles, Javanese chicken noodles, Bangka noodles, Medan noodles, Pontianak noodles and many more. Each has its own characteristics, noodles originating from Java have a sweet taste, the spices used tend to be strong with spices such as turmeric as well as a complete range of kitchen spices.
However, Chinese noodles from Bangka and Pontianak are almost the same in shape, but in terms of taste, Pontianak noodles have a savory taste.
Today we ate Bakmi Kalimantan Achun (Bakmi Pontianak) which is located on Jalan Jelambar Utama 4 No. 62 in West Jakarta. The location of the noodle shop is quite far because it is in a narrow alley, but even so, this shop is very busy with visitors, especially on weekdays, the noodle shop is open from 07.30 WIB to 16.00 WIB.
Bakmi Kalimantan Achun sells non-halal food so Muslim friends are not advised to eat here because it contains pork and uniquely the Bakmi Achun shop does not provide a menu price list & does not have payment receipts.
Here's the front view of Achun's Kalimantan noodle place. This is the front part of the shop which is used for cooking noodles and taking orders.
The inside is quite simple, there are only a few tables and benches with air conditioning and fans.
Some of the remaining customer tables have not been cleared. And the inside of the dining chairs is always full of customers, sometimes we have to wait in line to eat when it approaches lunch time.
On the dining table, prepare some sweet soy sauce, salty soy sauce, fish sauce, pepper and chili sauce. So if you feel it's not salty enough, you can add it yourself according to your taste.
While waiting for our order we ordered various drinks such as orange ice, sweet iced tea and soy milk. My daughter really likes soy milk.
This is a list of the menus sold at Bakmi Kalimantan Achun, there are various choices of chicken noodles, beef noodles, pork noodles, beef kwetiaw, pork kwetiaw, beef vermicelli, pork vermicelli, there are tofu meatballs and plain meatballs, they also sell various beef and pork soups.
The price per serving of noodles is only sold at IDR 22,000 or $ 1.45, which is very cheap, isn't it, but in terms of taste, this is the winner because at a cheap price, the quality of the food you get is very decent and competitive.
These are some of the menus I ordered, meatball, chicken and pork noodles and pork kwetiaw.
For the entire menu we ordered, we spent IDR 137,000 or the equivalent of $9.04 for 1 portion meatball 4 portions of noodles, 1 portion of kwetiaw 2, 1 orange ice, sweet iced tea, 1 soy milk ice and plain iced tea.
For a chewy but light noodle texture, small noodles are made from homemade noodles.
That's all our culinary delights for today until we meet again, thank you for reading my blog and also for all your support for me...I really welcome criticism and suggestions from you to be able to create a better blog in the future. Bye bye
