My First Impression of Yoshinoya Yakiniku - Japanesse Restaurant

Life has its own challenges for anyone, including the cats we have at home. That means that life will be very hard for anyone and we must be able to handle our own problems. A week ago, I was surprised by my aunt who had to have a heart ring surgery at a hospital in this city. After the surgery, she came home to stay until she recovered from the surgery, her house was very far from the hospital so that she would not be tired on the trip and had to check up again for the next few days, she had to stay at home and had no other choice.

It felt quite painful for her child, because my aunt was still 50 years old. It was hard for her child who had to take care of her mother now. So to cheer her up, I took her to eat at a restaurant in one of the malls. At least my cousin could breathe a sigh of relief and be refreshed afterwards.

A restaurant that I had never been to before, I had heard the name of this restaurant and was quite curious. But honestly this was not what we wanted, but considering that the restaurant we wanted to go to was fully reserved, aka a long queue, so we went to the restaurant next door.

The place is quite spacious but not private, so it can be open among other shops. Well, I thought, I didn't have much expectation at first for the food we chose. But this is where the extraordinary thing happened. Of course, it's about the taste of the food.

I chosee one beef yakiniku, my wife chose beef teriyaki and my cousin chose chicken katsu. It turned out to be delicious! Even the portion was very large, like it could be eaten for 2 portions in 1 fairly large bowl. Beef yakiniku is very filling from the amount of meat given, of course even though it's very large, it tastes very good because it's authentic from the taste of Japanese yakiniku. Eating Japanese food too often makes me traumatized, sometimes the taste is too adjusted to the Indonesian tongue. However, at this Yoshinoya restaurant, no!

A little taste of my wife's, the beef teriyaki is darker in color than my yakiniku. The taste is also extraordinary, the sweetness that comes from the special Japanese yakiniku sauce and the savory taste that is no less kicking on the tongue. But honestly, I prefer the taste of this teriyaki, it really suits my taste which is savory and sweet in one bite.

For the chicken katsu, I didn't try it, but I took a photo of the appearance of the chicken katsu. It's not too special because the pickle of carrots and mayonnaise seem very little, but my cousin said it tastes quite good, a bit like fried chicken without any authentic Japanese taste but it's okay for people who don't like spicy food.

Then we were given 2 glasses of cendol with a very delicious taste, if this is indeed free from the purchase of the yakiniku set and teriyaki set. It is called 'cebong cendol' because it resembles a tadpole. Like having a short tail and a concave tip, but it tastes really good. The sweetness is just right and a little hint of jackfruit flavor. It seems like they use Javanese palm sugar which is famous for its delicious taste and not too thick like sipirok palm sugar. However, the overall taste of the cendol is extraordinarily delicious.
