Ingredientes
250 gr de Arroz
1 Coco mediano
300 gr de Papelón o panela
1500 ml de agua
1/2 Cucharadita de sal
Azúcar, cantidad necesaria (opcional)
1 Cucharadita de canela en polvo
3 o 4 clavos de olor
Hello my Foodies Bee Hive community, today I bring you a delicious coconut rice.
Ingredients
250 gr of rice
1 medium coconut
300 gr of Papelón or panela
1500 ml of water
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Sugar, quantity needed (optional)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
3 or 4 cloves
Procedimiento
En primer lugar, comenzamos colocando el papelón o piloncillo en una olla con los clavos de olor. Dejamos en el fuego hasta que se derrita el piloncillo
Procedure
First of all, we start by placing the papelón or piloncillo in a pot with the cloves. Leave on the fire until the piloncillo melts.
Picar el coco, licuar con un poco de agua y colar su leche. Reservar
Chop the coconut, blend with a little water and strain the milk. Reserve
Colar por segunda vez el coco que se licuo con el agua restante y agregar el papelón derretido, pasándolo por un colador para evitar las impurezas
Strain a second time the coconut that was liquefied with the remaining water and add the melted papelón, passing it through a strainer to avoid impurities.
Agregar la canela, sal y el arroz. Llevar al fuego durante 1 hora y media aproximadamente o hasta que el arroz ablande totalmente, removiendo constantemente para evitar que se pegue en el fondo de la olla
Add the cinnamon, salt and rice. Cook for about 1 hour and a half or until the rice softens completely, stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
Una vez que verifiquemos que el arroz este totalmente blando, agregamos la leche de coco que reservamos anteriormente, el azúcar (si es necesario) y los trocitos de coco. Mezclar y dejar hervir unos minutos mas
Once we verify that the rice is completely soft, add the coconut milk that we reserved earlier, the sugar (if necessary) and the coconut pieces. Mix and let it boil for a few more minutes.
Transcurrido el tiempo de cocción, retirar del fuego y dejar reposar por unos minutos. ¡Servir, espolvorea canela en polvo y listo!!! A disfrutar de este arroz coco delicioso.
Once the cooking time has elapsed, remove from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes, serve, sprinkle with cinnamon powder and it's ready to go! Enjoy this delicious coconut rice.
