Enjoying sunset before dinner
We went for dinner across the road from the hotel to a restaurant called Kuzina Gallerie. The restaurant had a really great atmosphere with lots of green, purple and orange lamps and lights which gave it such a nice feel and vibe. The outside section had tables and chairs and also had a nice vibe to it but it was too cold to sit outside.

We sat down at a table inside and the staff brought us some nice fresh artisan/sour dough type of bread with some sesame seed and green olive bread sticks.
Delicious fresh bread
I ordered the the tender grilled chicken souvlaki, which was marinated in a mixture of spices and herbs and came with baby potatoes and a side salad and garlic pita bread. It was astounding! One of the best souvlaki dishes I have ever had!

The menu
My Dad ordered the Soutzoukakia, which was marinated in herbs and spices with yoghurt and came with baby potatoes and garlic pita bread. My sister ordered a plain spaghetti with some cheese grated on top, whilst my Mom ordered a Greek moussaka.
Just across the road from the hotel
Lovely garden setting as well
Indoor bar setting
After we finished our meals, we were given a complimentary dessert on the house (which is standard in Crete) which was a Greek Semolina cake and we also got given home made vanilla ice cream.
They even gave us grapefruit from the garden to take back to the hotel with us.
Until next time ...
