Favoritos en la vida y siempre que tengo oportunidad y, estando en la calle, trato de comprarme un helado sencillo para poder alegrarme la existencia y a en mi casa, cuando tengo la oportunidad, tambiĂ©n me gusta hacer algunas recetas de helado. En diciembre yo estuve comprando una base para helados de la marca Waltz, la cual ya habĂa aprobado anteriormente, pero en otros sabores. Y aunque la habĂa comprado en el mes de diciembre no habĂa tenido tiempo para poder realizar esta receta hasta el dĂa de ayer, que tenĂa muchĂsimas ganas de comer helado por fin y como tenĂa varios ingredientes decidĂ intentar algo nuevo y es asĂ como saliĂł esta receta que les comparto el dĂa de hoy.
Favorites in life and whenever I have the opportunity and, being on the street, I try to buy a simple ice cream to be able to cheer up my existence and at home, when I have the opportunity, I also like to make some ice cream recipes. In December I was buying a Waltz ice cream base, which I had already approved before, but in other flavors. And although I had bought it in the month of December I had not had time to make this recipe until yesterday, I really wanted to finally eat ice cream and as I had several ingredients I decided to try something new and that's how this recipe that I share with you today came out.

- 200 g de crema de leche | 200 g of heavy cream
- Paquete de galletas Oreo | Package of Oreo cookies
- Base para el lado de Oreo marca Waltz | Base for the Oreo side Waltz brand
Antes de comenzar con esta receta, estuve colocando la crema de leche en el freezer para que se fuera enfriando y poder mezclarla de una mejor manera. Digamos que estuvo unas dos horas dentro del congelador e inmediatamente, cuando la saquĂ©, ya tenĂa todos los implementos en la mesa para que no se calienta. Estuve batiendo esta crema de leche a velocidad alta durante unos cinco minutos hasta que esta comenzĂł a expresar y doblar su tamaño.
Before starting with this recipe, I was putting the cream in the freezer to cool it down and mix it in a better way. Let's say it was in the freezer for about two hours and immediately, when I took it out, I had all the implements on the table so it wouldn't heat up. I was beating this milk cream at high speed for about five minutes until it started to express and double in size.
Luego estuve colocando todos los ingredientes, como estaba usando la batidora elĂ©ctrica de mano, pues decir agregar todo y despuĂ©s comenzar a batir. Primero agreguĂ© la base para helados, unos 150 g aproximadamente. Luego estuve colocando tres cucharadas de cacao en polvo, unas cuatro cucharadas de leche en polvo y una cucharadita de vainilla. A este punto estuve agregando un vaso de agua. Lo ideal serĂa que fuese un vaso de leche, pero como ya habĂa agregado bastante leche a la mezcla, no quise agregar más.
Then I was putting in all the ingredients, since I was using the electric hand mixer, well say adding everything and then starting to whip. First I added the ice cream base, about 150 g approximately. Then I added three tablespoons of cocoa powder, about four tablespoons of powdered milk and a teaspoon of vanilla. At this point I was adding a glass of water. Ideally it would be a glass of milk, but since I had already added quite a bit of milk to the mixture, I didn't want to add more.
Luego esto debatir durante unos cuantos minutos hasta que tuvo la consistencia que yo deseaba, que fuese cremosa, para nada lĂquido, ya que esto nos ayuda muchĂsimo para que el helado sea bien cremoso cuando estĂ© totalmente frĂo. Sin esperar demasiado estuve triturando las galletas oreo y les agreguĂ© a la mezcla ayudándome con una cuchara y luego traspasĂ© la mezcla a un recipiente de silicona, el cual es rectangular y a mĂ me encanta para hacer estos helados. HabĂa reservado unas cuantas galletas para poder colocarle por encima al lado y lo llevĂ© al congelador durante toda la noche.
Then I debated for a few minutes until it had the consistency I wanted, which was creamy, not at all liquid, as this helps us a lot so that the ice cream is very creamy when it is completely cold. Without waiting too long I was crushing the oreo cookies and added them to the mixture helping me with a spoon and then I transferred the mixture to a silicone container, which is rectangular and I love to make these ice creams. I had set aside a few cookies to put on the side and put it in the freezer overnight.
Al otro dĂa, como a eso de las tres de la tarde, estaba sacando el helado hacia la nevera para que se le bajara un poquito, lo congelado y poder manejarlo de una mejor manera. Me di cuenta inmediatamente de que el helado tenĂa una consistencia increĂble y estuve agarrando unas cuantas cucharadas para poder probarlo y la verdad me encantĂł. Es la primera vez que hago un helado tan cremoso y creo que me ayudĂł muchĂsimo el hecho de que dejĂ© la mezcla bastante espesa. De sabor estaba increĂble, sabĂa bastante a Oreo, pero me gustĂł personal. Me hubiera encantado colocar un poquito más de cacao porque a mĂ me fascina, pero estaba bastante bueno y todas las personas que lo probaron dijeron lo mismo. En estos momentos en que les escribo esto, aĂşn me queda la mitad del lado porque obviamente tenĂa que compartirlo y estoy muy contenta porque la receta fue todo un Ă©xito. Espero que les haya encantado conocer esta receta del lado, bastante fácil y deliciosa de realizar, nos leemos pronto!
The next day, at about three in the afternoon, I was taking the ice cream out to the fridge so that it would freeze a little bit and I could handle it better. I immediately realized that the ice cream had an incredible consistency and I was grabbing a few spoonfuls to taste it and I really loved it. It's the first time I've made such a creamy ice cream and I think it helped me a lot that I left the mixture quite thick. The flavor was incredible, it tasted quite Oreo, but I liked it personally. I would have loved to add a little more cocoa because I love it, but it was pretty good and all the people who tasted it said the same. As I am writing this, I still have half of the side left because obviously I had to share it and I am very happy because the recipe was a success.
