Hi all...

how are you today? I hope you are always healthy and enthusiastic to carry out every activity :)

Today I want to tell you a little about my activities. As usual I work from morning to night. I always bring food supplies because for me bringing my own lunch from home can save money. considering that life in the capital is very expensive. especially when it comes to buying food out, we have to be smart about finding discounts. Besides that, bringing lunch from home is also more hygienic because we cook ourselves. I usually eat my lunch at 2 pm so I don't eat snacks in the afternoon. but for some reason earlier at 12 noon I was very hungry automatically I ate my lunch during the day. and sure enough at 6 pm I was getting hungry. when I was hungry suddenly my sister chatted saying that she wanted to invite me to eat nasi liwet at her house in Depok.

I was immediately happy because the rice liwet was delicious and really made my stomach full. but before that I stopped by the market to buy jengkol, and other less material. a little drama because it was all impromptu and I didn't bring a change of clothes because considering my sister's house was quite far away, I automatically spent the night at her house. So before I to his house I stopped by me house to get clothes and towels.

when he got home, it turned out that his brother and family were waiting and all the dishes were ready to eat. I'm a little uneasy for coming a little late.
oh yes, the nasi liwet menu here is accompanied by side dishes, there are

Nasi Liwetan is one of the traditional Sundanese dishes of West Java. usually served with banana leaves. very suitable when family gathering and eating together on banana leaves. Nasi Liwet is usually served with a variety of side dishes. of course complete with chili sauce. Along with the development of the era, Nasi Liwet began to be enjoyed by many people.

Even for family gatherings or gatherings with friends, or office events usually the menu used is liwet rice. from the way it is presented, it looks close and familiar. usually eat with a plate but for rice liwet can eat together on a banana leaf. for the ingredients to make the liwet rice itself, it consists of bay leaves, lemongrass leaves, red onions, flavoring, then given cooking oil and then cooked over medium heat. oh don't forget to use water about one finger knuckle. when it is cooked, the liwet rice has a very distinctive and appetizing aroma.
I'm always addicted to eating nasi liwet. every gathering with anyone always cook rice liwet. actually the side dish can be anything. whatever the side dish, the important thing is that the rice liwet is definitely delicious and filling. I've had nasi liwet with seafood and it was really good. with a special sauce Padang.
