Hello hivers!!
Hello food lovers!!
What's up everyone? It's been a long time already since I posted a food blog here.
I honestly doesn't have any blog entry to write.Good thing that today ,I got an idea what to write here after I was in the school waiting for my son's classes to finish.
My son is a kindergarten student,in his age he needed someone to wait for him outside the school that's why I always there from r him since I don't have any job aside of being a mother.
While watching the vendors.preparing the food they are selling ,I got an idea what to write today .Good thing that I brought my phone and didn't waste any time to take some photos of it.
So ,for today's blog I will be sharing to what available food in the school where my son is studying.
First this pitchi-pitchi or inday -inday .It's is made of casava,it's a grated casava.
I remember when I was a kid ,it is one of my favorite snacks in our school and that time it only cost 1 peso but now it is already a five peso each.
Then they have a homemade donut worth 5pesos each also.
Two vendors also are selling some fish ball , tempura
My eldest son loves this kind of food but I keep reminding him not to eat this kind of food every day since it has some food coloring and seasonings.
Next is the hotcake ,my favorite snacks my mom prepared back then .Its like a pancake ,the difference I think the hot cake has a food coloring.
I was craving this food when I was pregnant last year but then it was a sad experienced because I got miscarriage.
A banana cue and maruya and banana turon also are available almost everyday here.
There are some available juice but I forgot to take a picture huhu.
I only got this ice candy for 5 pesos each.
When the bell rings for the recess time ,the students are quicky ran to this area from their snacks .
Most of the kids are having a 20 pesos for snacks .
That's why vendors are selling their food that is affordable for the students .
Everytime my two boys are busy watching and buying food for their snacks ,my inner child is healed honestly .
Way back when I was in my elementary days ,I always doesn't have baon for snacks.
Sometimes I am selling guava fruits so I can have snacks .
I am happy when my teacher will asking me to pick her white hair during lunch break as she will paid me.And by that I can have something for my tomorrow's snacks.
And that would be all for today ,thank you guys for your time and have a great day!

I see similarities between the food in my country and the food you shared, one of them is Pitchi-pitchi which is a food made from cassava coated with grated coconut. Ahh, this is exactly the same as the traditional snacks in my country, Indonesia. We call it yam satay and I've even shared the recipe on this platform. It's nice to know that other countries also have the same food, even other school snacks that are almost all here and definitely sold in schools.
It's great to have a place like this! I love simple street food. Have a many food menus.
