WEEKEND FOODIES

Hello! Happy weekend everyone! The best days of the week.😆

There are people in our lives that we don't require ourselves to spend a lot of energy just to have a bonding with them because they are our best people. And for me, they are my childhood best friends. Every weekend we always have our mandatory get-together to tell each other how our weeks went. This is our way to at least release the burnout that we feel in our different work. So, you'll probably see me share our weekend get-together with my friends here every weekend.

So usually when we have to get together during weekends, what we do is we always EAT. We always try different coffee shops and restaurants, or sometimes we just go to the mall food court to eat our cravings and that's what we do this weekend. Since my friends have cravings for potato chips, that's what we buy first.

The potato chips are from Potato Giant, and they are called PotPots. Haha, it's a cute name for potato chips, and we always laugh whenever we say it. The taste is really good especially when dipping with their special sauce.

Aside from potato chips, we also buy from Goto Tops, where I ordered Chicken Goto and Lumpiang Ubod, and they are a very nice combo! One of my favorite. Ate seller is also nice, will probably go back here to try the different foods that are on the menu. 🤗 Since this was our first time eating Lumpiang Ubod, my friend was really curious about what Ubod was and how it tasted. Normally, we only eat a regular lumpia with chicken, pork, or beef and veggies inside. Then after searching, we discover that lumpiang ubod is the heart of the palm or "Ubod ng Niyog." So now we get why it is called "Ubod" haha. We enjoyed the taste, and would probably get it again the next time. The Chicken Goto is good to eat when it is still hot. Although I'm tempted to order their special goto, which has a lot of toppings like fried garlic, chicken, chicharon, pork or chicken, eggs, and so on. I'm worried that I won't be able to finish it all, sobrang dami. Haha, maybe I'll order their special goto next time for take-out and eat it at home. 🤗

We also buy Jamaican patty Cheesy Beef flavor, which is also one of our favorites. This is also my go-to food at work when I don't have a packed lunch. This just simply the best! The taste is so good and it's best to partner with very cold drinks like juice or soft drinks.

After we completed our order, we started to eat and talked about a lot of things.
