An Experience in Best Ramen Sachi Restaurant in Dumaguete

Last month's quick escape from reality was not yet over. I have mentioned in my previous blog how Negros captured my heart and this blog is all about Dumaguete.

Dumaguete is just a 30-minute Roro ride from the port of Liloan, Santander, Cebu. Whenever we get to travel south, it's always accessible to visit Dumaguete. Moreover, Roro trips are per hour. You don't get to worry about not having to catch up on the rides because it is done almost every hour. That just means that a lot of people from Cebu flock to Dumaguete or vice versa.

When you ride a Roro from Liloan port, in thirty (30) minutes, you'll step into Sibulan port. Sibulan port, on the other side, is a 15-20 minute ride going to the heart of Dumaguete, which we've usually known as #DumaGetMe. Well, it's true. Dumaguete gets a lot of nods from locals and international tourists for its accessibility and the tourist spots it offers.

You don't get to worry too much about where to stay because Dumaguete is surrounded by hotels that definitely offer you a home-away-from-home vibe. Its plaza or commonly known as Rizal Boulevard may look steady and calm during the day, but at night it looks vibrant and lively, with all these food stalls, amazing lights, and cool people roaming around.

If you want to eat in a restaurant, the place offers a lot. I mean, not two or three but more than 20, I guess. It also has busy markets, churches, schools and universities (Siliman, of course), fast food restaurants, malls, and many more.

Today, I will be sharing with you a food experience in a restaurant named Best Ramen Sachi. By its name, you know already the food it offers. It serves authentic Japanese Ramen.

Before getting inside, look at the facade. It looks extravagantly perfect. I had second thoughts in my head because the prices might hurt my pocket. But, to make this Dumaguete escapade a lot more memorable, let's jump in. I can still earn money and experience is priceless. 👌

I directly asked the restaurant in charge of their best-seller dishes. We got their best seller Ramen, Chashu Don with rice (rice with beef toppings, I guess. I am not good at recognizing food ingredients), and Chicken Teriyaki.

We waited for 5-10 minutes before the food was served. That made me look at the restaurant's design, furniture, lights, and art.

Their counter area and ceiling were painted with Japanese significant symbols like a fan and a cherry blossom tree.

What a way to end the first-day trip in Dumaguete! The food were undebiably delicious. I couldn't convince you more. Just look at the proof.👌😆
