Good morning Hivers how are you? I hope you haven't gotten tired of my recipes! I haven't seen many comments lately but I don't give up and I will continue to bore you with my recipes 😂 Today I decided to make a simple recipe, a potato omelette, a classic dish from many cuisines, easy and cheap!

To do it you just need:

  • 5 eggs
  • 3 large potatoes
  • four tablespoons of grated parmesan
  • three tablespoons of salt
  • two tablespoons of oil.

First we peel the potatoes (as you can see in the photo while I was peeling the potatoes my husband brought me his helper, my cat Marzullo. We then prepare a pot where we boil some water.
And a pan where we put two tablespoons of oil. After peeling the potatoes, cut them into very fine slices or rounds, make sure there are no pieces of potatoes that are too large, then as soon as the water in the pan boils, put the potatoes in to blanch for about ten minutes.

Buenos días Hivers ¿cómo estás? ¡Espero que no te hayas cansado de mis recetas! Últimamente no he visto muchos comentarios pero no me rindo y seguiré aburriéndoos con mis recetas 😂

Hoy he decidido hacer una receta sencilla, una tortilla de patatas, un plato clásico de muchas cocinas, ¡fácil y barata!
Para hacerlo solo necesitas:

  • 5 huevos
  • 3 patatas grandes
  • cuatro cucharadas de parmesano rallado
  • tres cucharadas de sal
  • dos cucharadas de aceite.

Primero pelamos las patatas (como podéis ver en la foto mientras yo pelaba las patatas mi marido me trajo a su ayudante, mi gato Marzullo. Luego preparamos una olla donde ponemos a hervir un poco de agua. Y una sartén donde ponemos dos cucharadas de aceite. Después de pelar las patatas, cortarlas en rodajas muy finas o en rodajas, asegurarse de que no queden trozos de patatas demasiado grandes, luego, en cuanto el agua de la cacerola hierva, poner las patatas a escaldar durante unos diez minutos.

Then take a bowl and the eggs, break them and put the yolks and whites in the bowl then add the parmesan, mix vigorously with a ladle and put the mixture in the pan, giving it a further stir, add the salt, drain the potatoes which were left to blanch first and add them to the pan, spreading them evenly throughout the pan so as not to have parts of the omelette without potatoes, n Unfortunately it didn't come out as round as I wanted because I made the mistake of using a non-stick pan but I assure you that the taste was delicious despite not having the perfect shape!

Luego tomar un bol y los huevos, romperlos y poner en el bol las yemas y las claras, luego agregar el parmesano, mezclar vigorosamente con un cucharón y poner la mezcla en la sartén, revolviendo más, agregar la sal, escurrir las patatas. que se dejaron blanquear primero y se añaden a la sartén repartiéndolas uniformemente por toda la sartén para no quedar partes de la tortilla sin patatas, n Lamentablemente no me salió tan redondo como quería porque cometí el error de usar una sartén antiadherente pero les aseguro que el sabor estaba delicioso a pesar de no tener la forma perfecta!

We make traditional potato omelet different. We julienne and fry the potatoes and then mix them with beaten eggs. This is not originally Venezuelan but it comes from Spain. Some of us like to add onion as well; I always do.
