This time I want to cook simple food for them. I also went to the market to buy groceries that I would cook. And my choice fell on kwe tiaw. Because I think cooking kwe tiaw is easy, adding vegetables and eggs is complete with protein, vitamins and carbohydrates.
After finishing shopping, I started mixing the spices and cooking ingredients for the kwe tiaw.
Ingredients:
- Kwe tiaw 500 gr
- 2 eggs
- 2 stalks mustard greens
- Bean sprouts 100 gr
- 2 stalks of celery leaves
- 2 leeks
- 1 tomato
- Soy sauce 4 tablespoons
Spice:
- 10 red chilies
- 5 red onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 candlenuts
- Salt to taste
Garnish:
- 1 cucumber
- 1 tomato
- 1 stem celery leaves
How to make:
First peel the shallots, garlic and clean the chilies, wash all the spices, then blend all the spices until smooth.
Also wash all the vegetables, drain them so that the water is dry, because if they are wet it will cause the kwe tiaw to become soft quickly, then cut the mustard greens, celery leaves, lei leaves and tomatoes into small pieces.
Next, sauté the spices in enough oil, stir the spices so they don't burn.
If the spices are cooked enough, add the vegetables and eggs. Saute the vegetables until wilted, don't overcook the vegetables, then add the kwe tiaw, don't forget to add soy sauce so the color looks beautiful. And add salt to taste. Cooking kwe tiaw doesn't take long because. Just 5 minutes after the kwe tiaw is added to the spices. Because kwe tiaw has a soft texture, so if you cook it for a long time, I'm afraid it will become mushy, I don't like it when it's mushy.
Now my kwe tiaw is finished, wow, it looks tempting, doesn't it? I started plating the kwe tiaw on the plate.
I first prepared the cucumber and tomato as a plate decoration to serve the kwe tiaw.
And here are the results of my cooking this time, kwe tiaw. And I started to taste my own kwe tiaw, and it tasted delicious, tasty. Moreover, the addition of bean sprouts vegetables has a distinctive fresh aroma.
Yummy, soft kwe tiaw with fresh vegetables plus savory eggs, complete taste.
I can't believe I've finished the whole plate of kwe tiaw, whether because I'm hungry or because the kwe tiaw is delicious...hahaha.
