I am currently in Sweden and my sister who lives there decided to show me how to prepare some famous Scandinavian food.She has made dinner for us yesterday evening and I watched and followed her instructions.
We started with a meal Fiskgratän usually prepared there at least twice a month.
Ingredients
1 kg of potatoes
1-2 teaspoons of salt
1 lemon
1/2 dill
1 kg of pastry
1 ½ tsp salt
2 dcl grated cheese Gratin or bachamel sauce
50 g of butter
4 spoons of wheat flour
4 dcl milk
2 dcl cream for whipping cream
200 g frozen spinach
Heat the oven to 200°C. 2. Boil the potatoes in salted water (1-2 teaspoons per liter of water), drain and let evaporate.
Take the fish out of the fridge and remove the plastic wrap. Drain off all the liquid and salt the fish.
Gratin sauce
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and mix in the wheat flour.
- Add milk and cream while mixing. Bring to a boil and cook for about 5-10 minutes.
Add 200 ml of neutral cream
- Add leaf spinach, salt and white pepper.
- Pour the gratin sauce over the fish and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes at +55°C.
You can serve it with cooked potatoes and green salad lettuce.
The meal was realy delicious.I am going to prepare it often,because it is healthy and so tasty.
