My daughter has shown me some videos of a fellow trying out depression-era recipes in his kitchen. I'll have to ask her if it was tik-tok or what. It was hilarious. Maybe you've seen them. Some of the results were surprisingly good, but a few were horrid. I like the sound of your recipe!

I love that guy! He cracks me up😆 He even has a cookbook out now I think. Wonder if he'd try the classic New Brunswick stew recipe from my great aunt's old tome, the first ingredient is About 30 squirrels (It's for a large crowd lol lol!)

After I posted this my mom called and relayed the story of how my grandma burnt my grandpa out on this cake when they first got married because it was the only sweet she knew how to cook. Oops lol!
