Thailand Part #1: I urgently need good coffee!

Hello dear Hive community,

Now that I've been on this platform for a whole year and have been working out here artistically every week, I thought I could also share some of the beautiful moments I enjoy in life and which I have captured on my cell phone with you here.

My idea was actually a kind of diary. Not daily or anything like that, but as I usually only show drawings I call it a "diary" as you get a more private insight into my day.

Maybe I'll manage to do a longer post like this every few weeks from now on. I can't promise anything as it's up to the whim of my nature how motivated and inspired I'll be. Yeah yeah yeah, the artists again, right? Hahaha. 😅

So, today I'm writing about my visit to the vintage café "Pakarang", which is located in Krabi Aonang.

On a beautiful January day in the year 2024....or should I start with once upon a time... Whatever, let's start my story and my impressions.

I was out and about without the girls @brillianttouches and @fressraupe, strolling through the alleys and streets of this little town with music in my ears, all dreamy and lost in thought, when this super cute café suddenly appeared out of nowhere in front of me.

I thought to myself "Perfect, just what I need now! Coffee. Good, tasty coffee and something sweet."

So I strolled into the café and was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the creativity and attention to detail that is evident here.

Not only is the service very nice and polite, but the idea of integrating a kind of library or bookshop is unique. At least I haven't seen this anywhere else.

In addition to well-brewed coffee and delicious treats, you will also find a ham or two to read.

The books are divided into languages. There is a lot of German reading material there. If any of you are ever in the area, take a look and let me know how you liked it. ❤️

I first sat at table number 4, but I wanted to have a quick look around the premises and see how big this store actually is. I was pleasantly surprised when I explored the upper floor and found a lovingly furnished floor in front of me.

However, I only took a few quick photos with my cell phone and then went back downstairs to my table, where I looked at more books and enjoyed my mango smoothie that was already waiting for me.

As you can see I wasn't holding back.... Yes! 2 pieces of cake and both for me! Yes, that's right. I can manage two. 😅

These were also extremely tasty, albeit a sugar bomb-but very tasty.

I sat there for a while, enjoyed my music, smoothie, coffee and cake and waited for a call from a friend I wanted to meet up with in the area.

Oh yes, this is my first attempt at a food and travel post. I hope I've done everything right so far? I am open to constructive ideas, tips and tricks and look forward to your feedback.

And now the most important spot.... Where they brew the coffee.... Hehehe

Und nun der wichtigste Bereich... Dort wo der Kaffee gebraut wird.... Hehehe

First I got the drinks. Which was urgent, because I not only needed coffee urgently, but also fluids in general thanks to the high temperatures and vitamins.

Zuerst habe ich die Getränke bekommen. Was auch dringend war, denn ich brauchte nicht nur dringend Kaffee, sondern auch allgemein Flüssigkeiten dank den hohen Temperaturen und Vitamine.

The two desserts were very good and attractively presented.
One was a lotus cookie cheesecake, which was very sweet.

The other was a fruity berry cheesecake. This one was pleasantly sweet, not as much as the other.

Die zwei Desserts kamen sehr gut und ansprechend angerichtet.
Ein Lotus-Keks-Cheesecake, welcher sehr süß war.

Der andere war ein fruchtiger Beeren-Cheescake. Dieser war angenehm süß, nicht so sehr wie der andere.

Well, what do you think of the sweet dishes? Looks fantastic, doesn't it? I actually wanted to take a slice with me, but the staff misunderstood me. Anyway, I had such an appetite that I managed to eat both. 😅

Na, was sagt ihr zu den süßen Speisen? Sieht fantastisch aus oder? Eigentlich wollte ich ein Stückchen mitnehmen, doch die Mitarbeiter hatten mich falsch verstanden. Egal, ich hatte dann doch so einen Appetit, dass ich beide geschafft habe. 😅

In most or all locations you will find a small temple for the house spirit.

In vielen oder allen Örtchen findet man solche kleinen Altäre für die Haus Geister, welche geehrt werden.

Ich wollte lediglich sehen was es in der oberen Etage gibt.

Now back down the stairs and back to my table, where my coffee and cake are still waiting.

Nun wieder die Treppen runter und zurück an meinen Tisch, wo noch mein Kaffee und Kuchen steht.

Thailand Teil 1: Ich brauche dringend guten Kaffee!

Hallo liebe Hive Gemeinde,

Nachdem ich nun 1 ganzes Jahr schon auf dieser Plattform bin und mich hier künstlerisch austobe wöchentlich, dachte ich mir, ich könnte auch manch einen schönen Moment, welchen ich im Leben genieße und welchen ich via Handy festgehalten habe hier mit euch teilen.

An sich war meine Idee eine Art Tagebuch. Nicht täglich oder so, doch da ich sonst nur Zeichnungen zeige nenne ich es "Tagebuch", da ihr etwas privatere Einblicke meines Tages bekommt.

Vielleicht schaffe ich ja alle paar Wochen mal so einen längeren Post zu machen ab jetzt. Ich kann nichts versprechen, da es der Laune meiner Natur entspringt, wie motiviert und inspiriert ich sein werde. Jajaja, die Künstler wieder, gell? Hahaha. 😅

Also, heute schreibe ich über meinen Besuch im Vintage Café "Pakarang", welches in Krabi Aonang liegt.

An einem schönen Januar Tag im Jahre 2024....oder doch lieber es war einmal... Wie soll ich mein Geschreibsel anfangen?

Ich war grad ohne die Mädels @brillianttouches und @fressraupe unterwegs und schlendernte mit Musik im Ohr durch die Gassen und Straßen dieses Örtchens, ganz verträumt und in Gedanken versunken, als dieses super süße Café vor meiner Nase plötzlich wie aus dem Nichts auftauchte.

Ich dachte mir "Perfekt, genau was ich jetzt brauche! Kaffee. Guten, schmackhaften Kaffee und gern was Süßes."

Also schlenderte ich in das Café und war positiv überrascht und angetan von der Kreativität und Liebe zum Detail, welches man hier offensichtlich erkennt.

Nicht nur das der Service sehr nett und höflich ist, auch ist die Idee eine Art Bibliothek oder Buchhandel zu integrieren einmalig. Zumindest habe ich das noch nicht woanders gesehen.

Hier findet man neben gut gebrühten Kaffee und delikaten Leckereien auch noch den ein oder anderen Schinken zum lesen.

Die Bücher sind in Sprachen aufgeteilt. Deutscher Lesestoff gibt es dort viel. Wenn einer von euch mal dort in der Gegend ist, schaut mal rein und sagt mir gerne wie ihr es euch gefiel. ❤️

Ich saß erstmal am Tisch Nummer 4, jedoch wollte ich kurz die Räumlichkeiten erkundigen und schauen, wie groß dieses Geschäft eigentlich ist. Ich war angenehm überrascht als ich den oberen Stock erkundete und eine liebevoll eingerichtete Etage vor mir wieder fand.

Jedoch machte ich nur schnell ein paar Fotos mit dem Handy und ging dann wieder nach unten an meinen Tisch zurück, wo ich mir noch weitere Bücher ansah und meinen Mango Smoothie genoss, der schon auf mich wartete.

Wie ihr sehen könnt war ich nicht zurückhaltend... Ja! 2 Stücke Kuchen und beide für mich! Jawohl, ganz recht. Ich schaffe zwei. 😅

Diese waren auch extrem lecker, wenn auch eine Zuckerbombe-doch sehr lecker.

Ich saß noch ein wenig so da, genoss meine Musik, den Smoothie, Kaffee und Kuchen und wartete auf den Anruf einer Freundin, mit welcher ich mich dort in der Gegend treffen wollte.
