It is a pleasure for me to be back sharing my thoughts of the body and the scene, today I come to share a very special analogy for me, achieving materialize it in words, I want to praise a very particular animal, with which I identify deeply when I dance, this beast that once was respect in the great Latin American empires specifically the recognized Mayas, which in its vast culture give the title of best warrior with the name of this imposing feline, jaguar warrior.
As you may well know, jaguars are large felines, from the family of the group of felines called Panthers. When I dance I resort a lot to the image that I am like these fierce, elegant, imposing, with control, wild features of the deep jungle.
Majestic species of considerable size, of those that if you meet them by bad luck can cause nightmares for a hundred nights, abound in the Amazon, in some jungles of Central America and Asia, specifically inhabit the tropical climates, located between the tropics of cancer and capricorn, cause fear among the locals of the Guianas, Suriname and India, can be the main reason for death to those who put their imposing eyes, these felines with stars that illuminate like lanterns the deep jungle, that cross the territory lurking in the shadows of the tropics in the ring of fire, these zero trained cats can hear at a considerable distance how everything around them moves, even when the leaves fall, they have the ability to smell fear meters away before stalking their prey.
Surely you will wonder why I could consider a killer beast as a reference for my movement, one of the reasons why I dance is to impact through the image, various questions of the body available for the interpretation of experimental experiences that impact visually, so these friends highlight and admire their ferocity, agility, power, precision, pure elegance to move, its imposing form impacts anyone who crosses this sensual panther.
With their sharp nails they tear the skin of their victims, piercing their musculature, opening their facia, their connective tissue, even bones with their fangs and claws, agility to climb high trunks, move among the branches of the veterans of the forest, the great trees that observe everything from their heights, these felines in the high ancestors of the jungle, with deep eyes that penetrate even the darkest soul ....
So I could say that I like to impact the spectators perhaps not with violence, rudeness, or defiant look, but perhaps yes, with precision, power, risk with determination, committed to 100% with my idea in the scene, even if it is an improvisation structure, with elegant sensuality at the time of moving, with eyes that cross the space without even moving the rest of the body, the fine-tuned intuition, the accurate decision to attack at the right time, his accurate speed to move on stage to devour his victims, my jungle the stage, my victims to impact their lives, the public.
Thus I culminate my analogy that after all I took it to my sensations in the experience as interpreter and creator, 8 years of dance and the scene, simply thank you for reading.
Ser como un felino
Un saludo a todos los creadores de la plataforma.
Es grato para mi estar de vuelta compartiendo mis pensares del cuerpo y la escena, hoy vengo a compartir una analogía muy especial para mi , logrando materializarla en palabras, quiero hacer alabanza a un animal muy particular, con el que me identifico profundamente cuando bailo, dicho bestia que en su momento fue respeto en las grandes imperios latinoamericanos específicamente los reconocidos Mayas, que en su basta cultura otorgan el titulo de mejor guerrero con el nombre de esté imponente felino, guerrero jaguar.
Como bien sabrán los jaguares son felinos de gran tamaño, provenientes de la familia del grupo de felinos denominados Panteras. Cuando bailo recurro mucho a la imagen de que soy como estás fierras, elegante, imponente, con control, rasgos salvajes de la selva profunda.
Majestuosa especie de considerable tamaño, de esas que si te los encuentras por mala suerte pueden causar pesadillas por cien noches, abunda en la Amazonia, en algunas selvas de centroamericana y asía, específicamente habitan en los climas tropicales, ubicados entre los trópicos de cancer y capricornio, causan miedo entre los locales de las Guayanas, Surinam e India, pueden ser el principal motivo de muerte a quien pone sus imponentes ojos, estos felinos con luceros que iluminan como faroles la selva profunda, que atraviesan el territorio asechando entre las sombras del trópico en el anillo de fuego, estos gatos cero amaestrados pueden escuchar a una considerada distancia como se mueve todo a su alrededor, incluso cuando caen las hojas, tienen la capacidad de oler el miedo a metros antes de asechar a su presa.
Seguramente se preguntarán por qué podría considerar una bestia asesina como referencia para mi movimiento, uno de los motivos por los que bailo es impactar a través de la imagen, diversas preguntas del cuerpo disponible para la interpretación de experiencias experimentales que impacten visualmente, por eso de estos amigos destaco y admiro su ferocidad, agilidad, potencia , precisión , elegancia pura al moverse, su imponente forma impacta a quien se cruza con esta sensual pantera.
Con sus uñas afiladas destrozan la piel de sus víctimas, atravesando su musculatura, abriendo su facia, su tejido conectivo, incluso huesos con sus colmillos y garras, agilidad para trepar altos troncos, moverse entre las ramificaciones de los veteranos de la selva, los grandes arboles que lo observan todo desde sus alturas, estos felinos en los elevados ancestros de la selva, con mirada profunda que penetran hasta el alma más oscura...
Así podría decir que me gusta impactar a los espectadores tal vez no con violencia, rudeza, o mirada desafiante, pero quizás si, con precisión, potencia, riesgo con determinación, comprometido al 100 % con mi idea en la escena, así incluso sea una estructura de improvisación, con elegante sensualidad a la hora de moverme, con ojos que atraviesan el espacio sin siquiera mover el resto del cuerpo, la intuición afinada, la decisión certera de atacar el momento indicado, su acertada celeridad de desplazar en su escenario para devorar a sus víctimas, mi selva el escenario, mis víctimas por impactar sus vidas, el público.
Así culmino mi analogía que después de todo lo llevé a mis sensaciones en la experiencia como interpreté y creador, 8 años de danza y la escena, simplemente gracias por leer.
