Today I’m kicking off my biggest 3D printing and painting adventure so far: a full-scale Alien vs. Predator diorama, inspired by one of the most legendary duels in sci-fi history.

The model comes from Wicked Patreon, a fantastic creator known for dynamic, cinematic sculpts. I’ve been following their work for a while, and this particular piece instantly caught my eye.

The finished figure will stand about 60 cm tall and will be printed entirely in PETG from Sunlu, a filament I’ve had great experience with. It’s tough, resilient and perfect for large, multi-part prints.

Once printed, I’ll switch to brushes and airbrush. My goal is to bring every detail to life, from the Predator’s armor to the glistening slime of the Xenomorph.
