As for us, like I said, from a certain point on, we were watching an episode every few days. Overall, we didn't complain about the waste of time, but I wouldn't recommend catching up. There's no reason to. Unless the showrunner has a divine epiphany and fixes all the mistakes in Season 2, which... I sincerely doubt it.

Just like I criticize Season 2 or Prometheus, both films are "something," and this series ultimately isn't.
