I talked about this movie once and seeing it now still infuriates me. The women in Tyler Perr's productions always being in abusive relationships or being unduly violent or just portrayed in the most unflattering of ways. Seeing any of his movies now is done with bated breath. Pathetic. Loved your rant review.🌺

Sigh. Remember the scene near the end where Ava lures Dallas home? I was expecting her to cleverly avenge her Dad in a satisfying way. Instead we get another scene of abuse meant to bring in the authorities. I gave up on Tyler Perry at that point!
