Hello guys, so imagine if you could go back in time and change anything you want but you are told that if you make any changes, you could potentially change everything yielding either positive or negative consequences.

ABOUT THE MOVIE
Well that's what “Time cut” is about. In a town called Sweetly, Minnesota, on April 18, 2003, Summer Field reluctant attends a party that her fellow seniors attending to celebrate the spring fling(it's a kind of festival) because three of her close friends, Emmy, Brian and Val were brutally murdered by a serial killer called the Sweetly slasher.

When she enters the party, she doesn't really feel the groove but she goes with it till a drink gets spilled on her then she goes out to a barn to try and get herself clean up. While she is doing that she gets attacked by the slasher who eventually kills her.

Fast forward to twenty one years later, a high school student and a very smart young lady, Lucy Field feels like she will never be able to come out of the shadow of her older sister Summer as the whole town including her parents are still very much hung on the day of Summer Field and her friends’ death.

The town never remained the same after the slasher’s murders and the fact that the case still remained unsolved didn't make it any better. Lucy follows her parents to the shrine for the victims in front of the barn Summer was murdered, while there, Lucy hears an unusual sound and she heads towards it.

When she finds where the sound is coming from she sees a strange machine and she is accidentally transported back in time to 2003, two days before the murder of summer. When she reaches she is unsure of what is going on so she goes to one of her teachers in high school and tries to know what's going on but then she meets Quinn who overhears her talking about a time machine and tells her against it.

After that, is carried by seniors to be thrown into the river as a prank but they are stopped by Lucy who then pushes one of the seniors into his back. Lucy then proceeded to tell him that she is from the future and that she needs help going back.

Quinn takes Lucy to her house(Summer’s house) on her request and Lucy goes into the house with the pretext of helping her do her chemistry assignment. When she goes in, she notices that there is more life in the house and that her parents are happy.

That night the slasher attacks and kills Val and Brian but because Lucy tries to help it gets a security guard killed as well. She eventually tells Summer the truth and together with Quinn go to save Emmy after saving her, Lucy discovers that Summer is gay and in love with Emmy.

Lucy comes up with a plan to save Summer, so while Summer goes for their senior dance, Lucy and Quinn go to get the fuel for the time machine. The slasher attacks Summer at the barn but Quinn and Lucy come on time to save her, they then discover that the slasher is an Older Quinn from the future.

He came back for revenge because of how much he was bullied and rejected. During their fight Lucy gets transported with the future Quinn to 2024 where she electrocutes and stabs him to death. She goes back home and discovers she doesn't exist any more so she decides to come back in 2003 and decides to live in this timeline.

RECOMMENDATION
I would recommend this movie to any one who loves time travel movies because it was more of a timetravel movie than a horror movie and for anyone who hasn't watched it yet.
