Coach Carter.- Movies

Sports movies are my passion, as I like to hang out with friends and chat about sporting events. When I get home after a day at work, I try to distract my mind by watching a movie.

The movie makes you focus on the subject, you forget about tiredness, otherwise I fall asleep before, sometimes the next day I finish watching the movie I was watching.

This time I saw a Basqueboll movie, called Juegos de Honor. In which a teacher helps his students not only at the level of creating strategies so that you have better plays, but also cares about his students, so that they have a good academic index so they can go to universities.

This teacher doesn't want his students to end up on the streets, or fall into drugs, since the majority who live in that neighborhood don't finish high school. Before starting to teach his practices, he makes his students sign a contract in which they commit to certain clauses.

• They must have an average of 12.3 in academic points.
• Attend all your classes.
• Sit in the front row of the room.
• Do not be late.
• Dress properly.
  If they want, they must sign it first, comply with each of the guidelines mentioned. Several of the players who were on the team left, because they did not want to commit, even the parents came to complain about this new attitude implemented. The coach each time they demanded of him to have a good performance, he made an effort in each practice.

This movie goes beyond a sports practice, this coach does not focus on the boys being good players, but rather that he is well dressed, that he has a good presentation, which is very important. That he has the possibility of opting for a sports scholarship at the university level since only 3% of these students manage to reach the University, this being mostly women. In turn, young people between 18 and 34 years end up in jail or on the streets as drug addict gang members.

Another fundamental point that I observed in this movie that I teach them about teamwork from time to time:

This movie is based on the real life of Ken Carter, who was champion in the year of 1972 in the Richmond school. This in time comes to accept the position of basketball coach of the team of said school, knowing that it is a group of players who are disunited and who do not care to study, in implementing certain regulations that the boys are not accustomed to punctuality, good clothing, study, responsibility, teamwork, communication, leadership. Las peliculas deportiva son mi pasion, ya que me gusta pasar el rato con amigos y charlar de los eventos deportivos. Cuando llego a casa luego de una jornada laboral, trato de distraer mi mente en ver pelicula.

La pelicula hace que te centres en el tema, te olvides del cansancio, sino me quedo dormido ante, a veces al dia siguiente termino de ver la pelicula que estaba viendo.

Esta oportunidad vi una pelicula de Basqueboll, llamada Juegos de Honor. En la cual un profesor ayuda a sus estudiantes no solamente a nivel de crear estrategias para que tengas mejores jugadas, sino que se preocupa por sus estudiantes, para que tenga buen indiuce academico pueda ir a la universidades.

Este profesor no quiere que sus alumnos no culmine en la calles, o caiga en las drogas, ya que la mayoria que viven en ese barrio no culmina la secundaria. Ante de iniciar a enseñar sus practicas hace que sus estudiantes firmen un contrato en donde se compromoten en algunas clausuplas.

• Deben tener un promedio de 12.3 en puntos academicos.
• Asistir a todas sus clases.
• Sentarse en la primra fila del salon.
• No llegar tarde.
• Vestirse bien.
  Si es que quieren debe firmarlo primero, cumplir cada una de lasm pautas mencionada. Varios de los jugadores que estaban en el equipo abandonaron, porque no querian compromoterse, hasta los padres llegaron a quejarse poor esta actitud nueva implemnetda. El entrenador cada vez le exigian para tener, un buen desempeño, los esforzaba en cada practica.

Esta pelicula va mas alla de una practica deportiva, este entrenador no se enfonca en lo muchachachos sea buenos jugadores, sino que a su vez este bien vestido, que tenga buena presentacion que es muy importante. Que tenga la posibilidad de optar por una beca deportiva a nivel universitario ya que solo el 3% de estos alumnos consigue llegar a la Universidad, esta mayormente son mujeres. A su vez los jovenes entre 18 y 34 años terminen en la carcel o en la calles como pandilleros drogadictos.

Otro punto fundamental que observe en esta pelicula que los enseño en trabajar en equipo en cuando:

1. Unos de sus compañeros decidio volver a jugar luego de a ver recibido un atacado con unos de sus mejores amigos lo mataron. El entrenador le exigio hacer 2000 Cunclilla para que puieran entrar neuvamente. Luegos sus compañeros al ver que casi el chico renunciaba decidieron darle a poyo e iniciaron hacer los ejrcicios con el.

2. Cuando el profesor Carter, luego de perder la pelea, por exigir a sus estudiantes que cumplieran elk contrato cieera el gimnacio, tiene juicio, en donde el prefiere renunciar. Al buscar sus cosas de la oficina, observa que sus mismo chicos estan ayudandose a estudiar unos con otros, ya que vieron el valor del profesor, la preocupacion que el queria que su estudiantes fueran a la universidades.
