PURPLE!

The sun came through our living room windows a few days ago, just long enough to spread rays of goodness across these incredibly perfect African Violets.
The shimmer and shine on the #purple petals aren't a photoshop filter, it's real. I waited for this Sunday #ColorChallenge to have the opportunity to share it with you.
If anyone can tell me why African Violets have this glorious "natural glitter" I'd be so grateful. I studied a bit online, and I couldn't find a reason or answer.
Just so you know, this is one of the easiest plants I've had in my home to care for. I've had this little beauty since 2013, it's been repotted once, and it's getting ready to go into two separate pots soon.

Thank you, so much, for reading and I always welcome your comments!
Take a look at @Labyrinths when you have a moment, and join our labyrinth community on HIVE if you're interested. We just started it, so there's not much going on yet, but if you're ever in the need for a "down to earth" (but not too earthy) psychic, you can find me online at Brigid's Aether.

Any images and graphics (unless noted) are mine.

Cool! You actually got some of the "sparkly bits" in the photo!

Dear @cosmictriage, we need your help!

The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago when the HBD stabilizer proposal rose above it.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work?
You can do it on Peakd, Ecency,

Hive.blog / https://wallet.hive.blog/proposals
or using HiveSigner.

All votes are helpful and yours will be much appreciated.
Thank you!

They are beautiful, I did not know this species. The truth is that when I saw it I thought they were artificial and of course the shine is noticeable. A privilege that you have grown them at home. Greetings.
