A Satisfying Phone Call

It's been more than a year, I have grounded on the field as a tutor. Yes, not as a professional school teacher, but as a primer. As a student of Science, I have very fond of Mathematics and others science related subjects. I have been holding a habit in my soul from my childhood that is, the thing or things I loved I tried to express through my words and when I got appreciation as a reward from the person next to me, It was truly priceless to me.

It doesn't mean that I wanted to be a teacher during the earlier days of my life. In fact, to tell the truth, I did not have a single portion of desire in my heart to be a teacher. I felt education was not an interesting thing, more accurately I felt that as a burden at that time. The reason was I found very few teachers at that time who were serving education to us in an attractive way.

More often they would physically torture the soft souls If they were unable to understand anything or answer a question appropriately. That's why I truly neglected the profession though that is one of the most novel professions of all. It's a very fascinating story behind being a tutor. Let me brief it, It was approximately two years back since I had been going to one of my Aunty's home with my family members. In the middle of the road, someone signaled the driver to stop the vehicle. After getting into the vehicle, he sat next to my sit. As it was a time of Coronavirus Everyone wore a facemask and he wore it as well. A couple of minutes later, his phone rang out, and after receiving the call, he started talking with the person. I was surprised for a while, his voice was pretty familiar to me although I did not detect his identity immediately.

Yes, I was successfully able to remember his identity, a couple of minutes later. He was my English tutor. I removed my facemask and addressed him, Sir. It was approximately 5 years had passed since I met him. Such a wonderful moment meeting him on the journey, he was quite surprised to see my face after so long. He was curious to know, what I do in recent days. On the journey, I had been answering all of the queries.

Yeap, he gave me his contact number to me and I told him, "As you are a student of science and taking a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, you can teach a few students to develop yourself and others as well. " Well, not a bad idea at. Teaching students. I felt It could assist me in plenty of sectors where I am pretty weak, such as I had inertia to present anything in an organized way and it truly helped me to rebuild myself.

My first student was not too mature, she was in class five and yes I got that student by the reference of my English tutor. The first day was all good but the guardian was not looking that great with her child. Having a tense complexion the guardian said that her child was not that great at math so I had to take more responsibility for her, as her child failed in math in the final examination of her school. I told her to rely on words and that I would put my best afford to make her a better student.

It was a pretty tough journey while teaching her because, at the very beginning, I was going with a lot of challenges as it was my first tuition. But didn't take it too seriously, I was doing the task as fun. As I told you earlier I love to explain in my way what I love. When I realized she had been understanding better, It felt great to me. When her final result had been published, she inform me through a phone call that she got 85 marks out of hundred. Yes, this is the biggest reward I got as a tutor and this is the most satisfying call to me.

And this year, I have been trying to get into a job as I told you earlier I don't like teaching as a profession. After returning from a long vacation the guardian of the student called me to start my job which is teaching her child. I respectfully inform her that I might not continue teaching If I got my desired job. Apart from that the student informed me that she was studying well and she can solve upper-class math which is quite shocking. This is the message which is the most satisfying moment as a tutor.
