Hey! It's the first day of the month and it means hive power up day. Did you power up already? If not yet, there is still 19 hours left as of this writing. So, power up now!
Hello hivers! Happy 1st day of the month of September. Here in the Philippines, once the BER months started, the long Christmas season also started. You can hear Christmas songs everywhere, in fact I just saw and heard one earlier in one of my social media account.
Aside from hearing Christmas songs, you will start seeing houses with different colorful Christmas lights. Others are starting to save for buying gifts.
Hive power up day
Every first of the month, many hivers are participating for the hive power up day and I am one of them. Since I joined hive and knew about this, I always give my best to participate but there were circumstances that we can't control and I wasn't able to power up.
Look at the screenshot above, I just missed one power up since the beginning of the year but it's okay, let's just keep going on.
Powering up is another way to grow our account. We can join by powering up at least 10 Hive, that's the minimum and enough to participate this activity. By doing it we strengthen our influence on the blockchain and we can earn more curation rewards. We can also earn some "interest" by holding our Hive Power.
Today, I power up 10 hive. It is small for others but it is really good for me. Powering up atleast 10 hive still mean I do the power up, I participated and I grow my account.
August achievements
I am a year and two months old here in hive and I am so happy reaching this milestone. I am always grateful for all the people who are always there to show their support. Without you, I am not here until this very moment.
Here are my small wins for the month of August:
PUBLISHED ARTICLES
It is always my goal to write atleast 15 blogs in one month but so sad, again, I never made it.
For the month of August, I just posted 10 blogs, if I'm not mistaken, this is the lowest in all months. I understand why my performance got this low because I became busy in other things. I still hope I can be active this month.
FOLLOWERS
I am so grateful for the new 12 followers added to my 287 followers last month and I now have 299 followers all in all. One more and I will break the 300 followers.
RANKING
Last month, I am in the rank 2916 and today when I checked it, I am now in the rank 2791. It is a little improvement but I am so happy that I am growing.
HIVE POWER
From 2300 HP now I have 2472 HP, it's growing right? It's maybe little for others but I am so grateful having this growth.
Be consistent, let your account grow! These are the two reminders that I always have for myself. When things go wrong and down, I always try to stand up and keep going, trying my account to grow even a very little.
