This month I've decided to do a slightly bigger power up as I will be busy moving houses in June and probably won't have much time to post. This bigger power up will allow me to edge closer towards my 100K HP target and with a bit of luck, I should get there organically by the end of summer. It's looking very good 😊
JUNE HPUD GUESSING CONTEST
In the past few weeks I'm actually getting ready for my move next month, and HPUD has caught me a bit off guard as I haven't had time to prepare for my HPUD Guessing Contest. Luckily, what I've been up to in real life with has given me some inspiration for this month's contest. A few months ago, my HPUD Guessing Contest was to guess the height of a mini chair. I'm going to do the same again this month, except this is for a set of real chairs that I bought recently from a second hand shop. I love how unusual these chairs are and they came in a set of four, two with arm rests, and two without. This month's HPUD Guessing Contest is:
How wide is this chair, from one end of the arm rest to the other?
To give you a tip, the chairs without the arm rest is about 40cm wide. Please let me know your answer in centimeters (or millimeters if you really want to go the extra mile 😄) in the comment below.
The prize pool is 20 HBD and will go to the person who guessed the correct or nearest answer. If there is more than one person who guessed correctly or the nearest answer, you will share the prize pool. And if you HPUD at least 10 HP today, I will double your prize as a bonus. As usual, I will upvote your entry and the % will be based on your level of engagement as the whole reason I started this HPUD Guessing Contest was to drive up quality engagement on Hive. Gosh I had no idea you were aiming for 100K. I gave up on my goals a long time ago. Here I am just ignoring my wallet and just posting and commenting! I'm terrible at goals. Remember me when you're rich and famous.

The guy in the shop said they're mid century, which apparently is the stuff my parents had when I was growing up. Been looking into a lot of furniture recently, quite fascinating.

We moved into our currently place last year, it was sort of a temp place till we get our forever home, which hopefully will be very soon now. Can't wait!!!

Yes - I think so. Lately our Cesca chairs receive more compliments although we've had them forever.
I remember my parents used to have those chairs! Seems like they were the go to chairs back in those days as I doubt my parent were part of the trendy stylish crowd!
Looking at them now, they are very beautiful, something which I didn't feel when I was younger

Wow nearing 100k HP must be elating, I always find others nearing milestones to be inspirational! As for me, I am getting close to being a dolphin. I had hoped to hit it today, but life and whatnot... I will be powering up big though too 😁
As for the chair... I will place my guess at 587 millimeters 🤣 (Just over 58cm)

It's nice to have something to aim for, and this is probably the only significant one that is achievable. It's not like I can achieve 1m!!! 😅 You ain't doing too bad yourself with all the savings locked up.

The chair has 15 centimeters on each side. We do a little math and it gives 700 millimeters. I liked the idea of millimeters.

Now to the chair, well it looks similar in width to the one I'm sitting on, so I measured it - 65cm, so thats my guess ! And I can confirm that I powered up 10 HP today as well !

It feels like the total length is 59cm or thereabouts. 40cm for the chair seats do seem to be on the small side though. 😜
