Hive Power Up Day and a few words about autumn

November 1.... Today is the start of a new month, which means it's time for a Hive Power Up! Which is exactly what I did a few minutes ago.

Time is passing so quickly that it seems to me that I don't have time to do anything at all that I have planned. Recently I was looking forward to the beginning of fall and making plans for this beautiful time of year... I was thinking about what parks to visit this year, what places to go for walks. But before I had time to do half of what I had planned, the golden fall was already over! I did not miss a single sunny day. Even if I had little free time, I was still so busy fixing my schedule to take at least a short walk. But still those days were too few.

Today I want to show you some pictures taken during these little walks. All these photos (except the last one) were taken near St. Nicholas Cathedral. First I walked along the boulevard, which is located along the bank of the Kryukov Canal, and then I turned to a small garden, which is located to the south of the cathedral building. The last photo was taken on the Moika river embankment.

The one-story building in the garden is the service building of St. Nicholas Cathedral, a little further are two two two-story houses. Through a small gate you can walk from the garden to the entrance to the cathedral. Most pilgrims enter the church grounds through the main gate from the side of St. Nicholas Square, but some locals use this inconspicuous shortcut. Lilacs and bird cherry bloom in this garden in the spring, and in the fall - however, why tell in words about the fall? You can see autumn in this pictures yourself!

The final photo of this series I took on the Moika river embankment on my way home. The shipyard is on the opposite bank of the river, and the three factory chimneys are the dominant feature of this photo.
