RE: When a Booming Economy Doesn’t Improve the Life of the Working Man... Western Civilization is Fast Approaching Its Imminent Fall

But more jobs and less unemployment doesn’t necessarily translate to a better standard of living, as more jobs doesn’t mean higher pay, and even higher pay doesn’t necessarily mean better standard of living depending on the ever-rising cost of living;

So so true. I am currently reading a book by David Graeber, Bullshit jobs. Many people are stuck in such jobs, which suck the life out of them. This explains why there is a rise in depression, suicide, anxiety etc. People work and have money to pay the bills, but they are utterly miserable.

I like that you said that the solution is not to go against the system, but rather to become conscious, to awaken from the slumber. Indeed over 90% of our choices come from the subconscious. People need emotional education, financial education, the kind of informations that schools don't provide. Intentionally or not.

Becoming attached with the material possesions is dangerous as the world is forever changing. I do feel that people need to find a meaning in their suffering and this pandemic has really opened the Pandora's box. One needs a tough spirit in order to stand brave and fight for a better life. For freedom. I liked your writing.
