Could this bring an end to the killing of innocent citizens? Is it possible possible to eradicate terrorists groups from this nation with the help of the new administration? Lives have been wasted, thousands have been eliminated, so much cries! God can use the new government to install peace for Nigeria as they swearing in a new president today.

As Nigeria set to swear-in a new government after Match General Election, many are contemplating over the prevailing terrorists activities in the nation which has claimed millions of lives and destruction of thousands of houses and businesses including farmlands. Eradication of terrorists and giving a terrorists free society has become one of the most political campaign promises over sixteen years now in Nigeria, every incoming or aspirates promised to give Nigerians a terrorists free state but the reverse is always the case and instead of decreasing, the terrorists tent to spread the branches and changes forms. Before now, Nigeria were only faced with two strong terrorists groups, that's, Boko Haram terrorists group in the northern part of the country and militant in the south-west region but currently, there have arise different branches and groups which includes Unknown Gunmen, Banditry, Herdsmen etc.

The emergent of these groups has create do much damages and destruction because each of them want to dominate and take charge of a certain area or region. The invasion of Boko Haram in the northern part has cost food scarcity as thousands of farmers abandoned their farmlands in search for life, same in the emerge of Herdsmen in northwest and east who had no mercy in activities. Meanwhile, the initial reasons for the coming of militancy in the south-south was to agitate for the equitable distribution of the national resources which is gotten on their region to develop other regions, causing the source region to suffer with oil spill and infertile f
land for cultivation later changed to what now claimed people's lives. Also, the new terrorist groups in the southeast, Unknown Gunmen and Banditry, came with full force without considering and their targets are police stations, officers, security men and anything that could obstruct the operations which in their few years of existence has burnt down thousands police stations.

The deaths arose from terrorism, banditry, Herders/farmers clashes, communal crises, cult clashes, and extra-judicial killings among others

Meanwhile, the previous administration which came to an end today, has suffered so much from these different terrorists groups, their activities including killings, kidnapping, burning down of houses, stations and government infrastructures. Unfortunately, over Sixty-three thousand, one hundred and eleven people has been killed between 29th May 2015 and 29th May 2023 sequence to ninety -eight thousand and eighty-three (98,083) killed before the previous administration takes over power, while over 4 four thousand, three hundred and twenty-seven has been kidnapped with great number of houses has been burnt down while 1.8 millions of people are internally displaced in the past eight years.

Meanwhile, other countries has sent in their representatives to the witness this great ceremony in Nigeria. While they are celebrating, I've this single pray for the country, the new administration shall recovery and overtake to give the nation peace and sustainable development in all ramifications and the affliction shall not continue anymore, God will give the new president and his cabinet the wisdom and capacity to bring down these terrorists forever because the blood of innocent citizens shared are too much for any society to bear.
