It makes a lot of sense that understanding self is important (reasonable).
The separation to master and slave though interesting looks to me a bit arbitrary.
It would be nice to have reference to research or another article. Without any ampiric base it sounds like a conclusion which might convince but can all the same be just a madeup theory.
