My experience with nature is something I would describe as magnificent. As a child I grew up around nature, surrounded by its warmth and energy, but after seventeen years I wasn't anymore. The peace found in nature is priceless and amazing. I've had a lot of amazing experiences with nature since I was a child because my mother made it possible with her little garden. Back then we grew lots of plants, flowers, and also food plants. Then after a while she monetize her garden. All the time, if I am not found at home, I would be in the garden playing with the sand there and also the plants disregarding every insect bite.

Yesterday, I was the opportunity to be home to see my family, since it has been a long time. Being home again was awesome, everything felt wonderful, and remembering all the memories I made there was something of joy to me. When I got home yesterday afternoon, I met my dad first in the sitting room and he was shocked to see me because they were not aware I was coming. So I spoke for a while and then I went to look for my mom where I knew she would be. I went straight to the garden and there she was taking care of some aloe vera plant seedlings. She was also excited to see me as I was and began talking as I got my hands dirty to assist her.

My Favorite Nature Experience.

Our garden holds a special place in my heart as it makes me appreciate nature the more. So, talking about my favorite experience with nature, I have a lot, but there is one that is so close to my heart that when I look back to that moment again, it reminds me of how nature has helped me to heal and move on from my dark days easily. This was back in 2016 to 2017. A lot of things took place in my life that broke me. The year 2016 and 2017 were my dark years. I almost lost it and almost gave up on life but the only thing then that appealed to me was our garden. My family knew I was in a bad place and whenever they saw me in the garden they would let me be.

The garden was my safe place that I began to eat there sometimes. 90% of my time was spent there, reading and sleeping. The amount of time I spent there helped me recover, helped me self-evaluate, helped me find peace, and helped me move past my dark days.

Also, I was able to meditate and invest in my spirituality. Spending most of my time there, I realized that nature is beautiful, it's life on its own, it's a link to peace, and no matter how dark or icy your heart is, nature will open you up to life in beautiful colors and not in monochrome as you saw it before.

Why Is Connecting With Nature Important.

One of the reasons to connect with nature is to seek peace. We all need peace. Peace is essential to us all and having peace means one is living fully in the present and not the past. Humans make a lot of noise, but animals don't hence why when one is close to nature this sudden peace and calmness washes over you.

Connecting with nature also helps us to appreciate life. When one spends a lot of time with nature, the person tends to notice special and unique features of nature thereby making the person aware of how precious life is. Again nature help to unlock purity in the mind which in turn helps to take away negative energy and influence. Also, another important reason why we should connect with nature is that it helps the mind to focus which helps in bringing up inspiration.

Nature is pristine
Nature is calm
Nature is rejuvenating
Nature is enchanting
Nature is picturesque
Nature is ethereal
We own it to ourselves to protect it and preserve it.

It is a blessing to have an easy access to beautiful nature. You got it in the shape of your mom's garden. Nature has answers to many questions, people can't give. That's why it proves to be a light in the dark days.

Humans make a lot of noise, but animals don't hence why when one is close to nature this sudden peace and calmness washes over you.

I love this part. Animals do not make noise, even plants and flowers. This is why there is peace and calmness when you sit with nature. Nothing or no one to disturb you but your focus would be on nature and reframing every negativity in your mind to a positive one. That is nature for us. With nature, we can't be worried or sad.
