The garden is thriving at the moment with flowers everywhere. One of the current worries is the lack of insects, butterflies and mostly bees in nature at the moment. There are a lot of initiatives going on on people planting more wild flowers to provide food for the insects (planting wild flowers seems a bit like a contradiction right?), but I'm not sure if all of these initiatives will actually do the deal.
In the mean time I'm letting the bramble to entirely crazy on growing and hopefully producing another big batch of blackberries. Another contradiction going on on this, because blackberry bushes thrive under levels of to much nitrogen in the air and that is something that the Netherlands is trying to work on. (dont get into those politics here, people get very opinionated on this topic)
But there are a lot of flowers and there is a lot of hussling and bussling going on in these bushes. Literally when you pas by you can hear the humming from anywhere.
As you can see in the pictures these are mostly bumblebees and not honeybees but at least something is pollinating these flowers and making sure that the season is continued.

Slowly lads
These bumblebees are also just really slow. Unfortunately my phone is not the winner in making macrophotography as everything gets a bit more blurry than I would like.
I guess you need some true photography camera equipment to actually get the perfect shot on this. These bumblebees are slow but not that slow. They stay on the flower for like 2 seconds before heading on to the next flower and that is the window of opportunity to take the shot.
I also planted some marigolds in the allotment that will start to flowers by the time that these blackberry flowers have stopped blooming so stuff continues to keep going.
Spring is lot and we need to make it a bit longer even.

Equipment
So I am curious on all of you that are doing those macro shots. Do you use your phone and what phone is that? Or do you use bigger gear to make these shots and does that take endless editing time to make it all happen? And am I being naive on getting those shots on there?
In the mean time I will enjoy the movement that is going on over here. I do occasionally see a honeybee on there as well, but I guess those have different places to roam around as well.
What are you doing for the garden to make it thrive?
Nice post but, always get into the politics. We have to speak out on everything that is good at a time when the world is dying - everything is political nowadays!
🎉🎉🥳 Congratulations 🥳🎊🎊

lekker al dat gezoem van de hommeltjes en ja ze zijn erg vlug beste tijd om ze te fotograveren is toch wel voor 10 uur dan zijn ze vaak nog niet op temparatuur en dus wat trager .
