RE: How I deal with the world's craziness

in ecoTrain4 years ago

I'm really hoping I get coronavirus so I can stay home away from the craziness for a couple weeks. Please quarantine me to my house with my chickens and my garden, that sounds just heavenly.

I totally get that feeling, Nate!

I'm doing this because the natural abundance reminds me that there is no scarcity except what we create in fear.

The best reason. People are giving into fear way too easily. Suddenly they start devouring and buying into everything the media feeds them, even if they didn't before.

Even in my own family, I can feel the fear. It's interesting to see how everybody reacts to situations in a different way and sad to see how many, put blinders on and trust blindly on the media ( my brother and sister included )

Let's stay positive and please keep sharing these cute little chook pictures and stories,

Vincent

The pervasiveness of the fear based lifestyle really gets to me here lately. It just baffles me how many people are so easily led by media hype and mob mentality. My parents are the ones for me, like your siblings are for you. It's sad really, how much life these people miss out on because of that fear.

Hear, hear.

It's sad really, how much life these people miss out on because of that fear.

I agree with that. I reached out to my brother today ( who's living 2k away from the place where I'm staying this week ), he wanted to call, I asked to meet up half way and go for a walk and talk. He replied that he will stay inside, we will call tomorrow. I let him know that his home trainer will finally get some use now.

Fresh air and movement always beat locking yourself in. The latter will surely make you sick, as does fear.

Take care Nate and stay sane
