village where the apocalypse will not happen/ kıyametin yaşanmayacağı köy

Hi friends. I'm so excited for my post today. I will talk about a village, which is the main subject of an event that happened in the past that I think you will remember. This event takes us to the Mayan civilization, which began to live in the millennium BC. According to the Mayans, the world would perish on 21.12.2012, but it was believed that only two places on earth would not be affected by the apocalypse. One of them was the village of Şirince in Turkey, and I think you all will remember this event at least a little.
Selam arkadaşlar. Bugünkü paylaşımım için çok heyecanlıyım. Geçmiş zamanda gerçekleşen sizinde hatırlayacağınızı düşündüğüm bir olayın ana konusu olan bir köyden bahsedeceğim. Bu olay bizi milattan önce binli yıllarda yaşamaya başlamış olan Maya medeniyetine götürüyor. Maya'lara göre dünya 21.12.2012 tarihinde yok olacaktı ancak dünya üzerinde sadece iki yerin kıyametten etkilenmeyeceğine inanılıyordu. Bunlardan biri de Türkiye'de bulunan Şirince köyü idi bu olayı hepinizin azda olsa hatırlayacağını düşünüyorum.
We are actually in the same city with our friends from university, but we can't get together very often because of the intensity of our lives and the distance between us, because it was our wedding anniversary yesterday, my wife had a holiday, so somehow it coincided with everyone's holiday, so we planned a small trip together, it was very nice, we had a lot of fun.😊
Üniversiteden arkadaşlarımızla aslında aynı şehirdeyiz ancak hem hayatlarımızın yoğunluğu hemde aradaki mesafe yüzünden çok sık bir araya gelemiyoruz, dün bizim evlilik yıldönümümüz olduğu için eşimin tatili vardı yani bir şekilde herkesin tatiline denk geldiği için birlikte ufak bir gezi planladık çokta güzel oldu çok eğlendik.😊

Şirince had a touristic importance in the past, and it was known especially for the production of a wide variety of wines, but when it became famous in 2012 as one of the two places where the apocalypse would not break, its popularity moved to the international dimension. It was so popular in 2012 that it was flooded by people from all over the world, including celebrities that everyone knew. I think there is no one who does not know Messi 😊 World-famous Brad Pitt, Angeline Jolie, Tom Cruise, Messi and many other local and foreign celebrities have come to Şirince. It still maintains its popularity today, regardless of summer or winter, and many foreign tourists came to visit this place during our visit.
Şirince önceden de turistik bir öneme sahipti özellikle envai çeşit şarap üretimiyle bilinirdi ancak 2012 yılında kıyametin kopmayacağı iki yerden biri olarak ünlenince popülerliği uluslararası boyuta taşındı. 2012de okadar çok rağbet gördü ki dünyanın her yerinden insanların akınlarına uğradı, içlerinde herkesin tanıdığı ünlüler dahi vardı. Messi'yi tanımayan yoktur diye düşünüyorum 😊 Dünyaca ünlü Brad Pitt, Angeline Jolie, Tom Cruise, Messi ve daha birçok yerli, yabancı ünlüler Şirince'ye gelmişler. Günümüzde de yaz/ kış demeden popülerliğini hâlâ korumakta bizim ziyaretimizde de birçok yabancı turist burayı ziyarete gelmişti.

While we were wandering among the narrow and clean streets, we could not notice how time flies. When I saw the mansions with the gardens with flowers and wooden windows, I couldn't stop taking a picture of it😊 We had nice chats with the sincere tradesmen aunts selling beautiful handcrafted wooden souvenirs, handcrafted spices and herbs. We visited two churches from the old Greek settlements. In front of the St. John the Baptist church, the wishing pool is believed to come true when you make a wish and throw a coin into it. Again, in front of the church, there was an area where candles, one of the symbols of the Christian faith, were lit. The Church of St. Dimitros was also open to visitors. The walls on which the figures of Jesus were drawn were very interesting. We watched with interest the cellars where thousands of flavored wines were made. Şirince is a village high up in the mountains compared to its surroundings. Although we were a bit overwhelmed by the known heat in the summer, we sat in the places built on high and cooled down thanks to the blowing wind and cold drinks. With the progress of the time, we set out on our way to our homes and I am sharing our memories with you that will remind you of this beautiful day😊
Dar ve temiz sokakların arasında dolaşırken zamanın nasıl aktığını farkedemedik. Bahçesi çiçekli, ahşap pencereli konakları görünce fotoğrafını çekmeden duramadım😊 Çok güzel el emeği ahşap hediyelik eşyalar satan dükkanlar, yine el emeği çeşit çeşit baharatlar, yararlı ot satan samimi esnaf teyzelerle ayaküstü hoş sohbetler ettik. Eski Rum yerleşimlerinden kalan iki tane kliseyide ziyaret ettik. Aziz John Baptist kilisesinin önünde dilek havuzu, bir dilek tutup içine para atınca gerçekleştiğine inanılıyor yine kilisenin önünde hristiyan inancının simgelerinden biri olan mumların yakıldığı bir alan vardı. Aziz Dimitros kiliseside ziyarete açıktı Hz. İsa'nın figürlerinin çizili olduğu duvarlar çok ilgi çekiciydi. Binbir çeşit aromalı şarapların yapıldığı mahzenleri ilgiyle seyrettik. Şirince çevresine göre yüksekte dağların arasında bir köy.Yaz ayında malum sıcaklardan ötürü biraz bunalsakta yükseklere inşa edilmiş mekanlara oturup esen rüzgarın ve soğuk içeceklerin sayesinde serinledik. Saatinde ilerlemesiyle evlerimizin yoluna koyulduk ve geriye bu güzel günü hatırlatacak anılarımızı sizlerle paylaşıyorum😊
