Antalya'nın en sıcak havaların yaşandığı dönemlerdeyiz. Bir hafta önce Abim ile telefonda konuştum. Antalya'ya bir haftalığına tatile gelmek istediklerini ve bende kalacaklarını söylediler. Bu haberi duyunca çok sevinmiştim. Çünkü uzun bir aradan sonra yeğenlerini görecek, onlarla özlem giderecektim. Abim benden iki yaş büyüktür. 4 ve 6 yaşlarında bir kız bir erkek olmak üzere iki çocuğu vardır. Bu güzel haberi alınca onları güzel ağırlamak için kafamda planlar kurmaya başladım bile...

My brother set out with his wife and children from my hometown, Bartın, in the morning. It takes 12 hours from Bartın to Antalya. They set out at around 08:00 in the morning. That day, I went to my school, as usual, to my work. They would be in Antalya around 18:00 in the evening. It was also my check out time. I had already signed my one-week annual leave after work to show them around. Around 17.30 my brother called me and said he was coming. I immediately left work and went to pick them up near the bus station. We came to my house with two cars. They wanted to rest because they were road tired.

Abim, Eşi ve çocuklarıyla birlikte memleketim olan Bartın'dan sabah saatlerinde yola çıktı. Bartın Antalya arası 12 saat sürüyor. Sabah 08.00 gibi yola çıktılar. Ben de o gün her zaman ki gibi Okuluma işime gittim. Akşam 18.00 gibi Antalya da olacaklardı. Benim de çıkış saatime denk gelmişti. Onları gezdirmek için bir haftalık yıllık izin belgemi iş çıkışı çoktan imzalamıştım. Saat 17.30 gibi Abim beni aradı ve geldiğini söyledi. Hemen işten çıkarak onları otogar yakınından almaya gittim. İki araba ile evime geldik. Yol yorgunu oldukları için dinlenmek istediler.

The next day I took them to Phaselis Ancient City Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in Antalya. Phaselis is about an hour away from the center of Antalya. Since the children were small, they could swim on the sandy beach. In this ancient city that sheds light on history, it is possible to swim in 3 different places. We decided to enter the south harbor beach where green and blue meet. As it's a small cafe here, there wasn't much variety for kids to eat. We brought all our supplies from home. We parked our vehicle among the pine trees 400 meters behind the beach. Although it was difficult for us to carry our belongings to the beach, we took the pain out of it by swimming in the sea.

Ertesi gün onları Antalya'nın en güzel sahillerinden biri olan Phaselis Antik Kent koyuna götürdüm. Phaselis Antalya merkezine yaklaşık bir saat uzaklıktadır. Çocuklar küçük olduğu için kum olan sahilde yüzebiliyorlardı. Tarihe ışık tutan bu antik kentte, 3 ayrı yerinde denize girmek mümkündür. Yeşilin ve mavinin birleştiği güney liman plajın da girmeye karar verdik. Burada küçük bir kafe olduğu için, çocukların yiyebileceği çok fazla çeşit yoktu. Bizde bütün malzemelerimizi evden getirmiştik. Aracımızı sahilin 400 metre gerisinde bulunan çam ağaçlarının arasına park ettik. Sahile kadar elimizdeki eşyaları taşımak bize zor gelse de bunun acısını denize girerek çıkarmıştık.

My brother's children Ali and Naz love to swim in the sea. In these months, the sea water temperature of the Mediterranean is about 25 degrees. Since my brother and his children are accustomed to the Black Sea water, the water here was quite warm for them. The only problem was that the sea was salty. They will get used to it over time. South Beach is clearer and cleaner than the other two beaches. In addition, the beach is completely covered with sand. I can also say that the large pieces of land at the end of the beach add a different beauty to the view of the sea.

Abimin çocukları Ali ve Naz denize girmeyi çok seviyorlar. Bu aylar da Akdeniz'in deniz suyu sıcaklığı da yaklaşık 25 derece oluyor. Abim ve çocukları Karadeniz suyuna alışık oldukları için onlara buradaki su oldukça sıcak geldi. Tek sorun denizin tuzlu olmasıydı. Ona da zamanla alışacaklardır. Güney Plajı, diğer iki plaja göre daha berrak ve daha temizdir. Ayrıca sahil tamamen kumla kaplıdır. Sahilin sonundaki büyük kara parçaları denizin manzarasına ayrı bir güzellik kattığını da söyleyebilirim.

Me, my brother and his wife sat on chairs right next to the sea and started chatting. On the one hand, we were reviving old memories, on the other hand, we were watching the state of the children while they were having fun in the sea. My brother is a mathematics teacher at the State School. His wife is also a portfolio manager dealing with individual clients in a private bank. My brother gives private lessons to his students in his spare time at school. I told my brother that he had to reduce the number of students now. Because he was too tired.

Ben, Abim ve Eşi denizin hemen yanında sandalyelere oturarak sohbet etmeye başladık. Bir yandan eski hatıraları canlandırırken, bir yandan da çocukların denizde eğlenirken ki hallerini izliyorduk. Abim Devlet Okulunda matematik öğretmenidir. Eşi de özel bir bankada bireysel müşterilerle uğraşan portföy yöneticisidir. Abim okuldaki derslerden kalan zamanlarda kendi öğrencilerine özel ders veriyor. Abime artık öğrenci sayısını azaltması gerektiğini söyledim. Çünkü çok fazla yoruluyordu.

The children asked me to come out of the water and build a sand castle. I did not break their wishes. We all started to build a castle by sitting on the sand of the beach. This wasn't my first castle building. I built a castle here for my brother's child last year. First, I created a rectangular shape. I tried to create the walls of the castle at intervals by using glasses on the ends of this rectangular shape. This job took me about an hour. But I gave the kids what they wanted. Then we all went swimming together and played games in the sea.

Çocuklar bir ara sudan çıkarak kumdan kale yapmamı istediler. Bende onların bu isteklerini kırmadım. Hep beraber sahilin kumuna oturarak kale yapmaya başladık. Bu benim ilk kale yapışım değildi. Kardeşimin çocuğuna da geçen sene burada kale yapmıştım. İlk olarak dikdörtgen bir şekil oluşturdum. Bu dikdörtgen şeklinin uç kısımlarına bardakları kullanarak aralıklarla kalenin surlarını oluşturmaya çalıştım. Bu iş yaklaşık bir saatimi almıştı. Ama çocuklara istediklerini vermiştim. Sonra hep beraber denize girerek, denizde oyunlar oynadık.

We went into the sea until late in the evening and chatted. Now we had to recover. Because the children were very tired. We gathered our things and proceeded to our vehicle. Akşamın geç saatlerine kadar denize girip, sohbetler ettik. Artık toparlanmamız gerekiyordu. Çünkü çocuklar çok yorulmuştu. Eşyalarımızı toplayıp, aracımıza doğru ilerledik.
