Hair and masculinity in women, how does femininity relate to “masculine energy”? (Concurso 202)

ESP:

ENG:

Hair is a fundamental part of our body and not only physically, but also psychologically. Many Gestalt psychologists attribute the hair and its state to the connection we have with our father / father figure / the “masculine energy” (Animus), especially in the so-called Projective Tests (those that denote personality traits, such as drawings), did you know this?

Now, if this association is true, why are most of us women so concerned about the well-being of our hair, if it is related to “masculine energy”? Well, it is a bit long to explain and I will try to be as simple as possible (any doubt, leave it in the comments).

The so-called “masculine energy” is that which is associated with behaviors of power, practicality, money. In Gestalt psychology we call it “Animus” and it has nothing to do with being a man or a woman, it is an energy that promotes certain behaviors, it just tends to be more present in some people than in others. It turns out that Animus cannot exist without Anima, its “feminine” counterpart, associated with behaviors of delicacy, detail and deep analysis.

Think about it - does having nice, healthy, strong hair make you feel powerful and confident? If so, then your Animus and Anima are activated at the same time, making you feel powerful in your femininity.

And the fact is that women can be strong and delicate, practical and decisive, because energies do not depend on our gender, but on how we use them in our daily lives.
