Life in Panama - An Update

I can't believe how long it's been since I've written a blog post! To say life has been busy is an understatement. Ha!

In July of last year, we took a five week trip to the United States. We were able to meet up with friends and family. We also attended a Christian camp in Colorado. It was a lot of driving, but we had fun seeing different parts of the country.

After returning to Panama, we had many projects to work on, as usual. Around Christmas every year, we host a community wide event with carols and reading of Scripture. This year, we made it a little more festive by adding lights outside of the pavilion area. It made the outdoors feel indoors and it was pretty cool! Everyone enjoyed the event - bonfire and smores were also included!

We have entered into dry season. This means that we have some amazing views, great sunrises, and beautiful sunsets. We regularly hear from people that stop by that we have the best view, and we really agree!

Currently we have a work crew working to renovate one of our rental houses. We have three homes that we rent and they are currently all occupied. We also have 4 container apartments in various stages, but we hope to complete two of them in the coming months. There is a waiting list for renters when they are done!

We are working on videos that we add to our youtube, facebook, instagram, tiktok, rumble, and various other channels. We have plenty of ideas, but we lack the time to sit down and get the videos edited and posted!

The kids all continue to go and grow! They have a Spanish tutor who comes once a week for conversations and they're doing great with that.

We also have some new additions to our farm. Our mama cow gave birth to a male cow a few days ago. The kids are calling him Chicken Nugget at the moment. Ha! We also had some Bantum chicken eggs hatch out - they are the tiniest little chicks! We also added a blonde German Shepard puppy to the mix and he was named Spartacus. Life is never dull around here!

I'm going to do better about posting more often! I couldn't even remember the site ecency today! Yikes!
