As a young adult, I have a lot of things in mind that makes me up at night. Sometimes, it is a dream that came true in an unexpected time; that proves that God never fails to surprise me on what life holds for me.
Since I was a child I always dreamt to have a stable life; a house with a pool, cars and a stable job. I never thought that this time will come; a time where all I wish, dream and want is to know the purpose of life. While continuing to abide in the church; with my brothers and sisters, God made me realised that I am one of His prodigal daughter, who left Him to love and enjoy the world.
Before, I said to myself that one day, I will be the greatest in this world that I can do all things without anyone's help. But deep inside I see myself as a hopeless person who is stucked in a dark room; no light, with no one. I felt like there's no way to escape the sadness that struggles and disappointments brought me. I seek comfort with materials things and with people; that are just temporary. I know that He exist, but I did not ask for His help.
Because I am too boastful, and the pride that is within me.
Until one day, my uncle told us that they will be conducting a House Bible Seminar in our house, and that they will spend the holiday with us. Before that day, I prayed really hard to God; to enlighten me, let me know the things I have to know, because I know that time it was only Him who can help me.
The day has come, the day where my heart is full of joy that I cannot explain. It brought me in tears, because all these years I thought I am all alone, that I am worthless and hopeless. But, that very special day, God made me realised that I am known and loved. I received the greatest gift and unconditional love. That He suffered on the cross for me to proved that He loves me.

So for me, having a peace in my heart and knowing my purpose is a dream come true that I never thought I would obtain in my life. Because of this peace, I become more calm and I tend to appreciate life more, and even though not in a materialistic way, I feel like I have everything 🤍
