Hello hello to all the women in this community and those men who support us from all over the world.

I hope that my intervention today will be of great help and support!
Certainly women nowadays we go through different biological, hormonal, psychosocial changes, stress factors that we women experience more often stressful events such as domestic violence, sexual abuse and socio-economic difficulties when we observe that the whole world starts to turn upside down with so many uphill responsibilities.
Because many times we say we can handle it all, but no, sometimes we can't and it is for strong women and warriors to accept that as well.
The social pressure and the expectations that each gender expects, increases even more the pressure on women because of this determination to be perfect in all aspects of our lives. And I repeat it is important to seek help in each of the mental or physical health problems we have.
Help, community and talking will always be our best cure.

How do women overcome persistent feelings of sadness, anxiety, irritability, changes in appetite or sleep patterns, and possibly loss of interest in activities?

Lately we are experiencing feelings of sadness, anxiety, irritability, changes in appetite or sleep patterns, and possibly loss of interest in activities. These symptoms can be caused by a variety of factors, including stress, our age-related hormonal changes, quality of life, physical activity, physical and mental health.

When I have experienced these symptoms and when my circle of women are the same, it is always best to seek professional and spiritual help and by this I mean two things: go to the religious community that your faith indicates or go to therapy with a good friend depending on how you feel.

Although a therapist can really help you identify the cause of your symptoms and develop strategies to cope with them, from my personal point of view and from my experience I recommend making changes in our lifestyle. Always remembering that you are not alone, that many women live a thousand things in one day, but it is only up to us to channel them with help and support from people and professionals. You should never, ever repress your feelings, your emotions and much less keep quiet when it is so rich to shout what you feel and live a full, meaningful and purposeful life.

In my experience to overcome these feelings of anxiety, sadness or depression we can do the following:

  • Take care of yourself physically: of getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods and exercising regularly.
  • Connect with others: Spend time with loved ones, join a support group, read more, write, have a tea and share it in a support group.
  • Do relaxation: Yoga, meditation and deep breathing can help you calm your mind and body by watching videos on Youtube and following them at least 5 min before sleeping helps to calm the mind.
  • Avoid vices: a social drink is not the same as drinking every day.
  • Seek help: If your symptoms are severe or interfere with your daily life, seek HELP, NEVER hold back. Because you can move forward.
    With time and effort, you can overcome these energy slumps, remember that you are strong and capable of achieving everything you set your mind to.

I've been too focused on my financial role as the Breadwinner over the years to finish paying off my home mortgage and reaching my Hive goals that I missed too much of my family's milestones. It has been the last several months I must slow down to spend more time with my sons and restore my health. You make very good points @daimar07

I believe that the economic part is the most stressful point in our daily life. But it is true that there are things that take us away from the essential. I hope these new days we will be better.

Exiting the wheel is your own decision. When you feel you want to do something and you never can. When you sabotage yourself even with your own thoughts, when you don't even want to brush your teeth. That's when it's time to get out. Go for a walk, sit on a tree branch, hug it, hug yourself and give thanks for every awakening. Let's move forward step by step.

At times we are at the verge or into the clinical conditions. The quicker we accept the situation and go for professional help, the better.

While dealing with negative enotions caused by general hassles of life, I think surrounding ourselves with positive people works pretty well. Having dependable friends in our lives is in ded great blessing.

Accepting it is the most important thing to be able to get out of the hole where we find ourselves day by day.....
