¡Hola queridas Damas de Hive! Espero que se encuentren todas muy bien. Hoy me pasó por acá para participar del concurso semanal con preguntas amigables en esta ocasión. Bueno, comencemos.

¿Cuánto significa para ti la amistad? ¿Puedes hacer nuevos amigos fácilmente?

La amistad es una parte importante de mi vida. Me considero una persona bastante leal a sus amigos y espero lo mismo de su parte, pero nunca me resultó fácil hacer amigos, ni tener un grupo de pertenencia. Mi primer amigo fue un niño que vivía cerca de mi casa, pero siempre me costó más relacionarme con los varones que con las mujeres. Tuve amistades con hombres, pero ninguna perduró en el tiempo. Con las mujeres me resulta un tanto más fácil, sin embargo, muchas tampoco duraron más que unos años.

Actualmente tengo dos amigas a las que considero como hermanas, a las dos las conocí en momentos diferentes de mi vida, a una en el secundario y a la otra en la Universidad. Nuestra amistad fue mutando con el correr de los años, con una tenemos periodos donde nos distanciamos pero siempre volvemos, es que ya las dos estamos en situaciones diferentes de la vida y nos cuesta encontrar espacio y tiempo como para vernos seguido, esto no quita que no hablemos y, además, la adoro con el alma. Con la otra somos más afines, estamos en sintonía y nuestra relación siempre fue imprevista y única, como si ya nos hubiéramos conocido en otra vida.

Mis amigas son una parte importante de mí, ellas me ayudaron a ser la persona que soy hoy. Estuvieron ahí cuando las necesité y en cada momento destacado que me tocó vivir desde que las conozco. Si pienso en escenas felices seguro que en muchas aparecen ellas. Es agradable andar por el camino de la vida de la mano de excelentes personas y mis amigas son las mejores. Las quiero muchísimo y espero que tengamos muchos años por delante. Como verán, no importa la cantidad de amigos que tengan, sino la calidad, considero que mis amigas son un faro de luz en mi vida.

Estoy abierta a hacer más amigos, sin embargo, nunca me resultó fácil. Siempre fui tímida y callada, así que dependía de que otros niños me hablarán. Hoy me desenvuelvo mejor en entornos sociales, pero es difícil hacer amigos nuevos pasado los 30 años porque las personas andan en diferentes etapas de su vida. Supongo que haría más amigos si hiciera alguna actividad que me guste dónde concurran otras personas. De todos modos, soy fiel creyente de que estas situaciones se dan cuando tienen que darse. Por lo pronto, estoy muy feliz con mis amistades.

¿De qué cosa vieja y gastada simplemente no puedes separarte?

Esta pregunta me hubiera venido bien hace unos años. Solía tener una almohada que la usaba desde que era un bebé, esas almohadas finitas y chiquitas, la use hasta los 25 más o menos jajaja. Tenía otras almohadas, pero siempre necesitaba tener esta en particular, la pobre ya estaba pidiendo auxilio, la tocabas y se desarmaba sola de lo gastada que estaba, pero si no la tenía para dormir me ponía de mal humor. Hasta que un día decidí dejarla descansar en paz y me deshice de ella. Lo mismo me paso con varias cosas porque soy bastante agarrada a lo material, les pongo una carga emocional, pero poco a poco fui aprendiendo a soltar. Ahora creo que me está pasando con unas zapatillas que ya están muy viejas y se empiezan a asomar agujeros, pero como las uso para estar en casa no pasa nada (esto bien podría ser una excusa), pero sí, ya debería tirarlas. El año que viene tal vez jaja.

Hello dear Ladies of Hive! I hope you are all doing well. I stopped by today to participate in the weekly quiz with friendly questions this time. Well, let's get started.

How much does friendship mean to you? Can you make new friends easily?

Friendship is an important part of my life. I consider myself a pretty loyal person to my friends and I expect the same from them, but it was never easy for me to make friends, nor to have a group to belong to. My first friend was a boy who lived near my house, but I always found it harder to relate to boys than to girls. I had friendships with men, but none of them lasted over time. With women I find it somewhat easier, however, many did not last more than a few years.

Currently I have two friends who I consider as sisters, I met them both at different times in my life, one in high school and the other in college. Our friendship has mutated over the years, with one of them we have periods where we distance ourselves but we always come back, we are both in different situations in life and it is difficult for us to find space and time to see each other often, this does not mean that we do not talk and, in addition, I adore her with my soul. With the other one we are more in tune, we are in tune and our relationship has always been unexpected and unique, as if we had already met in another life.

My friends are an important part of me, they helped me become the person I am today. They were there when I needed them and in every important moment I have lived since I met them. If I think of happy scenes, I'm sure they appear in many of them. It is nice to walk the path of life hand in hand with excellent people and my friends are the best. I love them very much and I hope we have many years ahead of us. As you will see, it doesn't matter how many friends you have, but the quality, I consider my friends to be a beacon of light in my life.

I am open to making more friends, however, it was never easy for me. I was always shy and quiet, so I depended on other kids to talk to me. Today I do better in social settings, but it's hard to make new friends past the age of 30 because people are at different stages of their lives. I suppose I would make more friends if I did some activity that I like where other people are involved. Anyway, I'm a firm believer that these situations happen when they are meant to happen. For now, I am very happy with my friendships.

What old, worn-out thing can you simply not part with?

This question would have come in handy a few years ago. I used to have a pillow that I used since I was a baby, those thin and tiny pillows, I used it until I was 25 or so hahaha. I had other pillows, but I always needed to have this one in particular, the poor thing was already asking for help, you touched it and it would fall apart by itself because it was so worn out, but if I didn't have it to sleep with it I would get in a bad mood. Until one day I decided to let it rest in peace and I got rid of it. The same thing happened to me with several things because I am quite attached to material things, I put an emotional burden on them, but little by little I learned to let go. Now I think it's happening to me with some slippers that are already very old and are starting to show holes, but as I use them to be at home nothing happens (this could well be an excuse), but yes, I should throw them away. Maybe next year haha.
