As every seconds, minute, hours, days, weeks, months and years pass by, that how we age. Just as the clock keeps ticking that's how we keep aging. It's inevitable for one not to age, it's biology. Our bodies changes, our cells grow and our strength fails us. That's life and it's unavoidable.

You can be 30 and acts like 15.
.
However, maturity is avoidable unlike ageing. Maturity grows from our choices and effort, learning from our mistakes and that of others. Taking responsibility and how we respond to life.
Let me share a funny personal experience as to why I say this. I once stay with someone who was eight years older than me, yet she acts so immature and always claim to know it all. One day we were in the kitchen together; she had just finished frying plantain and wanted to make egg. The oil was too much, so she decided to reduce it.
Instead of waiting for it to cool off, she brought out a plastic plate and poured the hot oil into it! Within seconds, the plate melted, the oil spilled everywhere, and we both jumped back in shock. I couldn’t stop laughing not because of the mess, but because it showed how age doesn’t always equal wisdom.
Actions like that just remind me that maturity takes awareness and learning. It means slowing down, thinking before acting and making a sound decisions.
Circumstances and experiences are what shapes us in life as we grow(Age) and this makes us matured along the line. So we keep learning.
Everyone of us will grow old. But maturing is what turns the years into wisdom.
Funny how we can still try to play around with ageing like, using cream, exercising, dressing and supplements. But we can't cheat on maturity, you can't even hide it. It's just shows in everything we do( our actions).
So yes I agree with the sayingAging is an obligation, but maturity is an obligation.*
Very funny story indeed
How on earth will someone pour hot oil into plastic plate😂
Maturity isn't really about age but character
It's a known fact that age and maturity are never the same thing, and it's not everyone we see that has both at the same time.
Some are younger persons but has the wisdom and maturity of elders.
That's a true fact.
Thanks for engaging.
Okay
You are welcome
Aging happens to everyone, but maturity comes from how we learn, grow and make choices.
Exactly

Thanks for always
The experience you share with us reflects that maturing is a matter of awareness and learning to make decisions, which, no matter how small, have their effects.
Although the saying seems funny: “Aging is an obligation, but maturity is a obligation.” In this case, it is very true. Thank you for sharing your experiences,

Maturity doesn't always comes with age.
Exactly 💯
