Online shopping apps indeed is a two-edged sword. We can "save" a lot buying online. Not only we can buy lower-priced items, it also saves time and money (for transporttion) going to shopping malls... Then again, those who doesn't have the discipline, will be lured by commercialism and keep on buying even the things they don't need.

That's very true. Almost everything now is at our fingertips sorta. The convenience of shopping tends to lure people into spending more.
