Realmente es muy loco haber comenzado como me pasó a mí, que sin saber estaba testeando una Dapp, porque el “juego” que les comenté del proyecto donde estuve, lo estuvimos testeando diariamente durante bastante tiempo y yo sinceramente no sabía que existía un trabajo específicamente para eso!!
Los testers o QA son quienes prueban las aplicaciones, los juegos, las páginas web de las diferentes empresas que están desarrollando para sus usuarios. Lo que hace el QA es crear esas historias de usuario si es que no están creadas, luego crea los casos de prueba y luego los testea buscando errores o más comúnmente llamados BUGS.
Esto se reporta en un tablero que generalmente es en Jira y se colocan los pasos a seguir y la evidencia para que los desarrolladores puedan arreglarlo antes para que el público tenga una buena experiencia de usuario y pueda llegar a realizar lo que deseaba dentro de la aplicación, web o game.
It is really crazy to have started as it happened to me, that without knowing I was testing a Dapp, because the "game" that I told you about the project where I was, we were testing it daily for a long time and I honestly did not know that there was a job specifically for that!

Dentro del Testing hay algunas variables, hay quienes hacen Testing Automatizado y otros que hacemos Testing Manual o también llamado Funcional. El automatizado es un poco más complejo ya que generalmente se necesitan conocimientos de código o de programas de automatización como Postman, Katalon o Cypress.
También se recomienda estudiar Bases de datos y saber utilizar SQL es fundamental para esto. Al principio me sentía bastante perdida, pero a medida que fui investigando y leyendo, y claro, probando todo lo que podía, empecé a entender más y más.
A medida que iban pasando las clases, se iba poniendo más y más intenso, pues cada vez ingresas más información a tu cerebro y es algo que muchas veces puede estresar, pero aún así no hay que autoboicotearse. Lo mejor es tomar un recreo y seguir luego.

Sinceramente pensaba que esto del Testing y de las carreras de tecnología eran sólo para los jóvenes, sin embargo me di cuenta que cualquier persona con ganas de aprender lo puede hacer. No digo que sea fácil, pero tampoco es imposible!! Asique te animo a que investigues y si en caso de gustarte quieres aprender, no dudes en escribirme a cualquiera de mis redes y te despejaré todas tus dudas y no olvides del cupón del 25% de descuento que te mencioné más arriba!!
Tuve compañeros de más de 60 años en el Bootcamp y eso me puso muy contenta, pues esas personas dan el mejor ejemplo: NUNCA ES TARDE PARA APRENDER ALGO NUEVO, no importa la edad que tengas, lo importante es que tu mente y espíritu sigan con sed de aprender y de avanzar. Eso fue lo que me motivó a seguir investigando y creciendo en la profesión. Aunque uno de mis mayores desafíos era el Inglés que es muy necesario y muy útil, y la gran mayoría de trabajos son en ese idioma, al principio sentía vergüenza y no me animaba a postular, así que bajé la App de Duolingo y comencé a practicar a diario. Mi inglés no es le mejor, pero va mejorando cada día con la práctica.
Hasta aquí llegué hoy, espero les guste, los anime y los inspire a cambiar de rubro si así lo desean y adentrarse al mundo TECH como lo hice yo, con muchos miedos, pero con confianza de poder cambiar mi destino, ya que éste sólo está en mis manos!! I honestly thought that testing and technology careers were only for young people, however I realized that anyone with the desire to learn can do it. I'm not saying it's easy, but it's not impossible either! I had classmates over 60 years old at the Bootcamp and that made me very happy, because those people give the best example: IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW, no matter how old you are, the important thing is that your mind and spirit are still thirsty to learn and move forward. That is what motivated me to continue researching and growing in the profession. Although one of my biggest challenges was English, which is very necessary and very useful, and the vast majority of jobs are in that language, at first I felt embarrassed and did not dare to apply, so I downloaded the Duolingo App and began to practice daily. My English is not the best, but it is improving every day with practice.
I hope you like it, I hope it encourages and inspires you to change your field if you wish and enter the TECH world as I did, with many fears, but with confidence that I can change my destiny, because it is only in my hands! I send you a big hug! Until the next post!
