Very thoughtful of you to do this post. The fact that some types of cancer give no early signs or part of their signs can be common with just random reactions of our body and not exclusively related to cancer make the early detection tricky. The Greek government offered free mammograms to all women and via this program thousands of them found out they have breast cancer, most in early stages. Priceless isn't it? Thousands of women will stay alive just because of a political decision.
I feel that we are very close to the milestone of massively offering targeted treats for cancer which will fight the cancerous cells without torturing the whole body. We'll see big changes soon. You're dealing with yours with impressive dignity and you'll benefit from them.

True, they have come a long way with this. Even chemo isnt that "Monster" it once was. Every treatment they check up before and each patient gets an individual adjusted cocktail, fresh produced.
Also in immunetheraphy the progress and healing courve is impressive.
Still the biggest problem imo is in the peoples heads, many dive into a scared state of mind. I am with you, soon there will be a breakthrough 🙂
And for prevention... Honestly I felt long time before there was "something wrong". But it was only a very small feeling and never ever would I have thought of this. So maybe hopefully my post raises the awareness to deeply listen and go for checkup.
