#162: I wish I could see the future

If I were to wish for anyone between seeing the future and seeing the past, I would choose to see the future with reasons that I will be highlighting. Someone might say "I would love to see the past so that I can correct the mistakes I made", well I would have said that too but I don't want to see the mistakes I made in the past, I want to see the future so that I can avoid the occurrence of whatever mistakes I made in the past.

I wish I could see the future to prepare my present and walk towards making the future a reality if it's a good one and look for a way to prevent the bad one from happening. The past that I have left behind shouldn't be a major determinant anymore rather the future should be the focus. The future holds lots of promises, unseen battles, and victories that if one is not fully prepared, one may lose his or her life in the process. If I could see the future, I would have known or had an idea of what I'm going into in the next 5 to 10 years.

This will be my motivational guide because when I remember how my future is, it will keep pushing me to do better in the present to make the future as good as I may have seen it or even more. The future is like "a baby in the womb in which you don't know the gender yet, the scan might be male, and when you give birth it might be a female". I have a lot of hopes for the future and if I could see what it's like, I would have prepared for whatever it might come with.

The future matters a lot to me, *it is like a rising sun which you don't know how bright it will shine", this is why one has to be cautious of how one lives his or her life in order not to jeopardize the future. Many are living their lives both the past and present not minding whether it will tell on their future or not. The future should be the priority because both the past and the present can destroy the future.
