Lady Bees

Ladies of Hive, hello to you all.

I love spending time watching bees dutifully collect pollen to take back to their Hives.

With worker bees being female, these ladies dedicate their lives to feeding their families, looking after each other and covering themselves in pollen as they fly from flower to flower creating new life as they go.

I read a story the other day about 3 bees that were drowning in honey. The child asked her father to take them out and try and save them to which the father obliged his daughter after assuming it would be a futile effort. Unbeknown to them an hour later they came back to their sister bees cleaning the sticky honey off the ones that were drowning until the point the 3 bees flew off unharmed after their ordeal.

Bees remind me of the Ladies of Hive Community.

Some of us may walk around with broken wings from trials in life that have been really too difficult to handle.

But when we fly, it becomes harder to see what is broken because the beauty each one of us has is able to shine.

From what I have seen in the past month is this group of women uplifting each other all the time. Ladies of Hive is a truly remarkable community of women that are just pulling together, sharing how we can become unstoppable with stories that are so touching! We are all unique, but all part of the same Hive. We are like bees, working together for the greater good 😍 Let's keep going. Cannot wait to meet more of you.

***I took these photographs of this particular bee on Milk Thistles. There was a buzz in the air with hundreds around me moving from flower to flower. Hard not to stop for a moment and just be mesmerised watching them go about their business.
